*grabs a lantern and writes calligraphy on it* well, that should hopefully be somewhat legible, unique if anything ^_^
I would love to be included in the raffle and the ping list. All tickets on the ryori, please, cannot resist the beauty.
More for sentimentality than anything, Beauty and the Beast has to be my favorite Disney movie. I literally wore that VHS out when I was a kid.
The Frog Prince
Prince Einar was a noble prince, invincible on the battlefield and unwavering in his commitment to his people. The local witch was threatened by this, knowing he could have her head if he found her to be dangerous. She sought to get rid of him, eventually getting the chance. She twisted his form to that of a ghostly creature and he was chased away from the kingdom by those he loved. The transformed prince set out on a journey to find the old sorcerer who lived in the mountains, hoping to be able to return to his natural form.

"The Frog Prince"
The Griffi Prince
This young man is known as The Ice King, however, he was not always known as such. His name is Prince Ledas.
Years ago the prince was out for a stroll in the forest near his home, the castle of his parent's kingdom, when he was approached by the most beautiful young woman he had ever seen. She asked the young prince if he would like to wed her, promising that she would bear him strong sons and beautiful daughters, but prince Ledas refused. He was gay, you see, and not at all interested in young ladies, no matter how beautiful they were. Outraged by the rejection, the young woman revealed herself to be a sorceress, and cast a spell on the prince, turning him into a fierce mystical creature before disappearing in a puff of shimmering dust.
The prince lamented at his new form, knowing he could never return home like this, he would be killed by the guards and hunters before he even got close, and even if he could get to his parents somehow, he could no longer speak, so it would be useless. With an anguished cry, he spread his new, icy wings and leaped into the air, carrying himself far into the snow-covered mountains, away from his lovely home.
He stayed there for many years, all the while, his parents searching frantically for where their lost prince had gone. The King and Queen sent many knights out searching, but none could find what had happened to the young Ledas, and soon they began to loose hope that he would ever return.
Around this same time, in the Kingdom across the mountains, a young prince set out on an adventure, he had grown tired of the crowded and oppressive ways of his parent's kingdom, so decided to go out and possibly find his own kingdom, away from his many siblings. This young man's name was Kaltet, and he rode into the mountains, using the path that many traders use to move their goods from one kingdom to the other, however, he did not know that the blizzard season was coming. He traveled a good distance, almost to the center of the mountain range before a huge storm hit, forcing him to take shelter in a near-by cave. Unbeknownst to him, this same cave was one that the transformed prince Ledas used quite often, and on that very night, he chose to use it. The moment the magnificent creature appeared inside the mouth of the cave, prince Kaltet drew his sword, ready to attack, but he stopped, as his eyes caught eyes of the creature and he saw something there that he couldn't explain, it seemed almost human. He lowered his weapon and Ledas cautiously approached, the two feeling a connection, despite their inability to speak to each other.
The two boys stayed in that cave together for quite some time, almost five months, since that's how long the stormy season lasted. Ledas would leave to hunt for food, but he always returned, and over that time, they grew close, and Kaltet always wondered if there was something more to the magical creature he found himself growing attached to. As the snows began to melt, Kaltet wished to continue his journey, but Ledas couldn't come along, with a sad good-bye, they intended to part ways, however, a sweet kiss from Kaltet, right on the creature's beak, broke the spell the sorceress had cast. In a flash of near-blinding light, Ledas was transformed back into a person, though he was different, changed from his time as a magical being. He retained his icy powers and his hair was now snow-white, but he was human again, and in that he rejoiced.
After Ledas explained what had happened to the bewildered Kaltet, they crossed the mountains together and soon came to Ledas' parent's kingdom, where they were welcomed with open arms and great celebration. After many years the two princes eventually got married and when Ledas' parents died, the boys inherited the kingdom, living happily ever after.
(Omg, I'm sorry that ended up so long, I got a little carried away. Hopefully that's not too much, if it is, let me know and I'll try to shorten it.)

Another quick question:
Can we edit our entries after we've posted? (mostly asking for the pet design one, but also in general)

My favorite Disney movie, of all time, always has been and always will be, the Lion King. I literally grew up on that movie. My mom took me to see it when I was only a few months old (granted, I started crying the moment "Circle of Life" started and she had to take me out, but still), my first birthday had a Lion King themed cake, and my whole room was decorated in Lion King stuff (mostly my mom's, since we shared a room). Even as I've gotten older, I still adore that movie. I remember in Jr. High, I used to have my friends quote any line from the movie, even the songs, and I would continue the scene, I got it right every time.
Anyways, I just really love the Lion King, I have a lot of really great memories attached to it, so it's my favorite.
If I could please have all my tickets on the Hyenas, that would be awesome. (Also, I believe the order goes Banzai, Shenzi, Ed, on your cerberus pup.)
I think Voodoo themed stuff would be cool (sadly I don't think I'll have the diamonds to order any this month, but I might get a Voodoo Man doll, just for the fun of it)

Okay, thank you~
Ehehe, I'm glad you like it! (I may flesh it out some time and make it into a full-fledged story, just because I like what I came up with)

Here's my Disney pet design entry,
Pongo the Dalmatian
And here's the ref I used (as well as others, but this one mostly):
This isn't my entry, but here's my attempt at a Scar Lighira...
And here's my reference:
Also decided to try my hand at Buckbeak, I think he turned out fairly well, however I had to use 4 traits and he looks better on the female base, but whatev, it's not my entry, so it's all good. :P

The Blossom Princess
Little Princess Sakura had led a sheltered life. Her father had never let her outside of the palace walls, and she knew nothing of the evil in the world. She was a sweet, but nave girl who only ever had two dreams in life. To please her father, the Emperor of the Land of the Blossoms, and to marry her childhood friend, Nara. So when her father told her that she was to be wed to Nara, who would be his successor, it was the happiest day of her life.
But Sakura began having doubts. What if Nara was only doing this to become King and he didn't really love her? What if her father still didn't approve of her? The night before her wedding, so nervous that her servants had to bring her ice to keep her cool.
A demon saw Sakura fretting in her room, and entered her dreams that night. He told her that he could make all of her dreams come true. He could make her eternally happy if she did one tiny thing. Her bouquet was to be made up of roses at the wedding. Sakura hastily agreed, hardly believing how lucky she was! This demon though was a dream demon, who got its power from ruining the happiness of humans. Sakura did not realise this, and woke up the next morning, glowing and excited for her wedding. Her servants wondered at what had brought on the sudden lack of nerves, but they were all happy nonetheless.
Sakura arrived at her wedding soon after. She found a bouquet of roses outside the door just as the demon had promised. She discarded her blossoms and entered the ceremony.
But poor innocent Sakura didn't realise what a big mistake she had made. Roses were the sign of a neighbouring kingdom that were at war with the Land of the Blossoms. Bringing roses into her own wedding was a sign of great betrayal. Her father immediately shunned her from the family and banished her from the palace walls. She was thrown out of her home and left with nothing. Sakura sat outside of the walls and cried.
Nara was devastated, having lost his lifelong companion. He truly did love Sakura, but he also knew that she would not last a day out on her own. He sprinted out of the wedding to the house of an old witch living in the lower palace. He pleaded with her to get Sakura back, to give him something to bring her back into the palace, but the witch would not deceive the king who had respected her powers. So he begged her instead to help Sakura live on the outside, staying outside of her house for 3 days straight until she gave in. He gave the witch a lock of her hair, and the witch worked her magic. Sakura was barely alive, being deprived of food for so many days on the outside. But on midnight of the full moon, Sakura was turned into a graceful, but hardy Blossom Flyer, a sacred animal in the Land of the Blossoms.
It is said that if you kiss a Blossom Flyer and they turn into a human, you are a descendant of Nara, and the Blossom Flyer that you kissed was once a human like Sakura too.
