This roleplay is about the fall of the Dragon Riders. The Dragon Riders were a group of 13 normal people, or elves, that when they were between the ages 7 and 16, were brought in front of many dragon eggs, hoping to be chosen by the dragon. If you were chosen by the dragon, the egg would hatch, and when you touched the dragon baby, it would give you a mark on your hand called a gedwy ignasia. It was a mark on your hand that was shiny and the same color as your dragon. When the dragon hatches for you, you become a dragon rider. Every elf and human wanted to become a rider because it is one of the greatest honor to be one, but few actually were chosen. Sometimes, dragons would wait in their eggs for hundreds of years, waiting for the right person to come for them to hatch to. When a dragon chose an evil person named Galbatorix, he killed ALL his comrades, the other Dragon Riders, and took over the Kingdom of Broddring and took advantage of it, making himself all the more powerful over every decade and century. He has captured practically every dragon that ever lived, except some few that he missed. You have magical powers too. History- Grew up in the royal family because her aprents were both riders but didn't have time to care for her. Then her parents died in Galbatorix's hands, leaving her alone to the royal family.

14 years of age, Mori Galaxia is a cocky young female elf, but can also be very elegant and graceful due to her family line. She is one of the quickest warriors known, be it when it comes to moving from place to place or using weapons. Prefer concealed weapons like throwing knives, daggers and shurikens, but has used a sword before and has knowledge of magic, mainly for healing and concealing herself. She likes playing cards as well, and keep a deck with her at all times. The cards have sharp tips as well. She wears an eye patch because her eye was slashed shut during an unfortunate match.
History-
Her family made a living as assassins and hunters, and one day, when she was exploring in the forest, she found a dragon egg. She took the egg and took care of it for a while, until Galbatorix started to kill the dragon riders. This caused her to leave her family and run, and she continued moving, her companion her dragon, and she never stopped at one place for long, fearful for her life.

He quite mysterious, preferring to keep within his forest's boundaries, and is rarely seen outside without his cloak. While preferring being by himself without the disturbance of other elves or humans, he does go to the town every now and then, and is viewed by many as a man with high charisma and intelligence, being respectful while being softspoken.
He rarely raises his voice, but will do so if angered or is needed to do so. Thus many view him as a true gentleman and a protector of the woods.
History-
He can't quiet remember what happened in the early stages of his childhood, other than the forest. He was found by a villager from Du Weldenvarden one day, and the man took care of him. When Jade - He was called Jade as was his name on the necklace he was found with - grew up, he couldn't help but feel that the forest called to him, and went back to stay there permanently with his foster father's consent. Of course, Jade would return to the village at least once a week, for supplies and to see his father. However, he feels more at home in the forest than in the city, and a possible explanation is that on the day he returned to the forest a dragon bonded to him and hatched.

He's usually smug, but has his serious moments, such as when battling or when an issue involves a friend. He can, however, be cruel and sadistic towards his enemies, and nearly always mocks them in battle, viewing himself to be better than them. He has a tendency to smile and laugh in battle, taunting the enemy while doing so.
While being a strategist, Matheus prefers being alone with his dragon, and if he can help it, would skip out on Varden activities that involve a multitude of people. If forced to work with a group, he'll do so without much complaints, but can sometimes disregard his associates and act on his own. He'll do anything to get to his goal, but his morals deter from killing innocents if he can help it.
History-
He lived a peaceful life till Galbatorix took the throne. His life wrecked, he joined the Varden to overthrow the king, only to find a dragon egg one day, and he raised his companion with care. He grew up well educated and mannered, but what he went through re-shaped him.

She's kind to all save her enemy, and can be quite emphatic. But this doesn't stop her from being a fighter, and a good one at that. She's rather mature for her age of 17, and she is a dragon rider. As a female, most are shock by her strength - she can lift some swords with one hand - and is one of the faster humans alive, though her previous armour hindered her speed, which is why she had another set that looked like her old armour, just a lot more light weight.
When in battle, her personality changes slightly. She's still kind and compassionate, but slightly more stoic, and cruel. She'll do anything for her friends, and has a habit of disobeying certain orders given out to her. She's quite charismatic as well, and persuasive, which shows she knows how to deal with people, and can catch the slightest of emotion changes, though sometimes misses.
History-
Born in Carvahall, she lived a decent life, and learnt how to be a soldier from her dad. Things were peaceful till soldiers came looking for new recruits to join the army. Not wanting to be caught in a war, or to be enlisted, she ran away, and first travelled the world with her dragon until she head of all of Galbotorix's wrong doings, and wanted to help stop him. Thus she went to the Varden.

A versatile warrior and a member of Surda's marine forces, the 'Tear Knights', he can take charge from the front lines to logistical support at the rear echelon. And for the sake of peace, they will bear any pains and sacrifices, and the same goes for Theo, being a squad leader of the Tear Knights. In battle he's fearless and usually stoic, and will do anything to ensure the safety of his troops, friends and hometown.
Outside, he's a good friend to have, fun, friendly and kind. Just like the others from the force, he's loyal, and respects his superiors. He helps with the training of the new members of the force, and helps as many people as he can. He's seen as someone anyone can count on.
History-
Born by the sea, he grew up being taught by his parents how to be a fisherman. However, as he grew up, he decided he preferred to help protect the borders of Surda, and joined the Tear Knights. During this time, he met and made several friends, one of which included his training teacher Argos, who was of same race as him. The two bonded fast, and saw each other as friends, once Theo stopped fearing the general. Now, the two count on each other to look out for the other whenever possible on the battlefield, and their dragons themselves are friends.

Personality-
During battle, he rarely shows his emotions, and keeps his calm, and is well reputed as a good leader. Outside battle little changes, unless he's with his close friends, which is when he'll only loosen up. To the rest of the force, they respect him, and are quite lax around him when out of battle, since outside battle he's actually pretty lenient, though he doesn't show it.
To those he trains, however, they fear him, since the training he does with them is rigorous and when he trains them, he has a habit of shouting at them, scolding them. Basically, he's harsh with them, and this makes the newer members scared, but once they get to know him, it's almost as if they were never scared at all. Around his friends, he laughs, plays and does what many would consider uncharacteristic of him.
History-
Born by the sea, Argos grew up knowing the basics of a fisherman, before enlisting in the navy, to protect the seas of Surda. Since he grew up near the sea, people say he is a commander who can hear the quiet voice of the ocean waves, since he nearly always knows when a storm is on its way. If he senses even the faintest hints of a storm, he is the first to advise troops to withdraw and peel away from the fight. This because none can fight against a great tempest wrought by Mother Nature. In addition, he leads the training of new members to the force, and is well respected and famous with his superior officers.
