Iv'e seen people talking about level up points but I don't know how to find them or use them. It sounds like it's different from the proficiency points. Any help would be appreciated. :3

Level up points are no longer a thing.

Before the leveling/proficiency update a while back, when your pets leveled up, you could assign level up points to certain stats. Now there's only proficiency points for simplicity.

as Catinheadlights says, Level up points no longer exist.

Back when, the stat points awarded by proficiency points also functioned quite differently, getting one prof point every five levels, and the bonuses they awarded were static and based solely on how many points you put in (and you could also put them towards your attacks), with level up points allowing for more customization. (and you could make a real mess of it, too- since what element a pet was didn't alter where you could put the points, so you could end up with an air pet that had all its points in Int being completely useless)

With the Overhaul, the old system was removed in favor of the new one, in which proficiency points scale based both on how many points you put into the stat and what level the pet is (and str/int is a single thing that it applies based on pet element), and attacks can be made stronger via ranking them up in the lost grove

Any references to the old level up/12 prof point system are some five years out of date, at this point.
