up the top of a thread is a separate bar that shows the chain of forum links that takes you back to each level of the forums- "forum index > [subforum name] > [thread name]
for instance, for this thread it shows "Forum Index > Q&A (Newbie Friendly) > How to change post title"
on threads that you have made, on the right hand side of that bar, there's a little pencil icon ; the icon can be pretty hard to spot because of its colour compared to the forum border colour, which is also kind of yellow-orange-ish.
Just click the pencil and it'll bring up a popup to let you edit it
