I've been clicking like mad in Aryth's Spire for the past couple days and STILL haven't come across the last mirror I need (on the Gold floor)...is it because I still have all 3 buffs activated (and that's somehow stopping the mirror event from showing up), or does RNG actually just hate me that much? >.>

I'm about to punt the peddler and healer next time they show up instead of a mirror...>.>

I know that much. That's not really the issue I'm having...I'm just not getting the mirror event, period. Only battles, chests, Jinxie, and the healer and peddler NPCs. I'm just getting frustrated because I would like to progress already, so I can actually participate in the fun stuff.

Ah. Are you actually doing the battles?

In the first two regions, you can only progress by battling. If you are running away from the battles, you aren't actually going anywhere and just endlessly spinning wheels.

I'm not doing the random battles, no, because I'm no longer getting any experience from them.

As Krin said, if you aren't doing the battles, then you aren't progressing- completing the battles is the thing that acts as "+1 progression towards X plot event" in regions 1 and 2 (this is never actually mentioned as a mechanic so it trips up a lot of newbies. I assume it was originally done so a person couldn't just skip all the battles and end up at plot-relevant stuff immensely underleveled?)

Yeah...I was over leveled before I even set foot in the Spire (been doing invasions), so those battles were just a waste of my time XD
