So, if anyone has an awnser this would be great, twice now Ive purchased a lesser genetic mutator to mutate some traits into two pets that have absolute nothing, and both times nothing has happened, the first time I figured I did something wrong but a minuet ago I purchased another made sure to read the description twice and it said it only worked on tamed pets, Im assuming that means tamed Sylesti, like ones that have been captured the ones that say this is a tamed sylesti on the genetics info I double checked the one I originally used it on and although it says its been genetically modified and it is a tamed pet theres still nothing showing up so I tired on a diffrent pet also a tamed one but nothing has happened to that one ether it still says its been genetically modified though, can anyone point out what Ive done wrong? I dont know if I misunderstood what it meant by tamed pet perhaps?

Lesser genetic mutators can give your pet visible or carried traits.

Most likely your pets received carried traits, which do not show up on a pet but can be passed down by breeding. You also cannot see carried traits in a pet's genetics section unless you use a genetic testing kit.

Genetic testing kits are hard to find but if you really want to see your pet's carried traits, there are players who can test your pets for you, such as here:

As EvilNapkin pointed out, the LGMs typically give carried traits instead of visible. Getting a pet tested will show the carried traits.
If you'd like to get a guaranteed visible trait then it's best to use a greater genetic mutator. These allow you to choose what visible trait you would like on the pet. They can be purchased in the diamond shop, gained from events, or purchased from other players.
