I have tried about a million times, and I just can't beat them. It's getting pretty frustrating, because I can't level up my pets at the previous places because they get practically no exp from them. I've tried everything, I am at a loss, and it's really getting on my nerves. Can I get some help please?

If you haven't already, try making your 1st party pet into a tank, and spend all their proficiency points in health, and 3/4 of their level up points in health as well, with the remaining 1/4 in agility. I've tried this build and it works really well. However if you use this setup, make sure your second party member has all of its proficiency points in either intelligence or strength, and its levelups can be divided however you want, really.
This setup works really well for most areas, but feel free to experiment with it, my first party pet for example has all her proficiency points in health, but her level up points are divided evenly between agility and strength.

Cool, thank you so much! :) Is there a way to reset level ups/proficiency points?

Yep! It cost around 500-600 gold for my level 43 pets, so It shouldn't be too expensive. I'm not sure how much proficiency points cost to reset though.
Just go to where you spend your level up points, and there's a reset option.

Thank you!
When I joined I only had a week to get them, so I ended up doing heaps of chores to buy them. XD

Actually, another suggestion, kinda counteracts the other one...
make the weakest sylesti your first-party pet, and armor it. The bandits will go for the first party pet the most, and will try and cast spells only on that pet.
AND, if you are interested, I will sell you a level 50+ Griffi for your adventures at 2,000 gold, because I have no use for it, and soon after beating the bandits, you will be at a high enough user level to command it :)
