How does one exactly price project pets?
None of mine are close to being done but I like to have things organized before Im finished any of them. Ill be able to put them up in the pet market forum like Ive seen some other people do, with a guide to the pricing for the various projects, how would I do that? If it just how much you think the pet is worth? Id assume projects with themed pets would be more but I wont be doing that for a long time, would I just have to show my projects first and see how much people are interested in paying for them?
For example: this is my first project Im working on, a 6 Vis qitari
How ever Im not sure how much I would be able to sell them or would sell them
For, Im creating them mostly because I rather love the design and im going to breed to order rather then have a group of them to sell off as if no ones interested it wont be a problem of having spares as Ill already have my pair but incase anyone does I have no clue how to price them, would it be a good idea to spend some time looking at other peoples projects to get an idea on how theyre priced?

First, let me say that that is a beautiful project and I want one of the offspring when you're done ^.^
So, for pricing project pets, there is no real easy way to judge what you should sell them for. Unfortunately, that is a personal decision that each project breeder has to make for themselves.
Some people price solely on their feelings about the project (so each project is independently priced using no discernible criteria other than that was what the player decided to price it at). Some people have flat rates for projects - like any non-fabled, non-themed project, regardless of number or type of traits, is 50k. They may have different rates for fertile/infertile, depending on whether they offer the option of one or the other.
Other people have rates based on number/type of traits; fabled versus non-fabled; regular, high, max, or super max stats; and possibly other criteria. These people usually have a breakdown of how their pets are priced to help them easily price their pets and help buyers have an idea of what a future project might cost.
Some examples:
Frawn's Pricing Scheme - flat rates based on trait number and type
Vineyiea's Pricing Scheme - no strict pricing; more 'pay what you will - within reason'
Atriella's Pricing Scheme - flat rate max stat pets based on species and traits
Untitledprince's Pricing Scheme - No discernible reasoning for different prices
Xavion's Pricing Scheme - flat rate for max stats, varying prices for super max stats based on how high grove stats are
My Pricing Scheme - rate per visible trait depending on whether fabled or non-fabled, flat rate for max stats
There are tons of other project breeders out there with their own rates. Some people sell for a lot more, some for a lot less. It's really up to you how you want to price your projects and what criteria you want to use to come up with those rates ^.^
Happy breeding!

thankyou this helps me a whole lot, as i had a general idea of what i'd set prices for but was having a hard time figuring out if there was a general idea for pricing project pets or just based on each breeders value for them also thankyou if you'd like i can set a reminder to ping/message you when there done but that probably won't be for a while lol

Lol! I am very familiar with the wait times on projects XD If it hasn't even been started yet, I wouldn't be expecting finished project babies for at least 6 months XP (and that's if rng is kind)
Glad I could help with the pricing question, though ^.^
