Hey so. Where do I find legendary gear? I don't think I have access to it at this point in the game, yet it seems I need it to get past that 'An Ancient Evil' story. Do player shops even exist on this site? Or am I just supposed to grind to lvl 60 to get past the stat puzzle?

Legendary gear can be obtained from bosses (eg, the minibosses from the two dungeons- nightfall bandit dungeon and dungeon of the forsaken, bosses in fest zones), and from mission satchels (quite rarely from purple/hard missions, fairly likely from yellow/very hard missions, both from esior's haven and sanctuary of saerielle though obviously the levels of the gear is different between them)

Because they drop from mission satchels, lv25 and lv50 legendary gear is pretty easy to buy from the broker.

An ancient evil *checks quest log* ah, Forgotten Tomb.
Forgotten tomb, each seal wants a pet with the correct stat, and that stat has to naturally (basically, the stat minus any boosts from gear, so base stat + level boost + proficiency) be over ~200.
So stronger gear literally makes no difference in doing the seals.

So your Delilah has high enough strength to do the strength seal (295 str - 85 str from equips = 210), Emerald has enough int to do the int seal (368 int - 101 = 262), and Duke would fail by one point (292 str - 93 = 199)

One trick doing the seals is to use mission pets to do them- finding the seal, swapping the team to have the pet with the stat, doing the seal, and swapping back to regular team, since a mission pet typically has all its prof points put into a single stat.
Any pet that's in its late 30s should be good to do it (it varies a little by pet base stats- a lv35 with base 15 and two points in the stat has just enough), has

That's helpful, thank you. Though nothing happens when I use those pets for those seals. Unless nothing is supposed to happen? Hm. Well, good to know I don't need gear I don't yet have access to, anyway, lol.

You could look into getting some mission pets on lv25+50 very hard missions if you can, to try for the gear drops; since lv25 legendary gear is better than all but your lv35+ epic gear (beating all lv35 rare and lv30 and below epics), and your party pets are almost lv50, it'd probably be worthwhile? (and hey, the other mission rewards are good too)

And yes, nothing visibly happens, though I believe the last seal does visibly do something? Been years, might be remembering wrong

(also, is there any reason your earth pet has a ravager equip while the Air has the Assassin pieces? Since Earth are the dedicated tank element and practically live in slot 1 usually you want as much agility as you can get on them, while air as a dedicated attacker wants more offense (although myrmidon's more their style than ravager since it gives them dex too))
