Recently returned from a years long unplanned hiatus, and I'm trying to clean out my stables a bit. Part of what I'm finding is that I have a whole bunch of pets that can be re-generated, and a lot of them have a decent amount of points to allocate - 6-12 - and a handful have color regen optional too. I will probably go through and play with some of them, but honestly, if there's a market for them, I'd be happy to sell some off as well.
Most are Ny'Venes and Kelps, the ones I would be willing to part with anyway. But since there's not a way to search for them, I really don't know if people would be interested/what they might go for.
So really, just looking for some advice/opinions. Let me know! And feel free to take a look if you're curious - most of them are in my third and fourth stables.

This thread is about 3 years old but it the only one I could find that has a price stated, about 50k or more other then that Ive personally only really seen regens occasionally on the advanced search.
I havent noticed many threads about specifically selling regens other then this thread where they have a specific post about selling/breeding regen pets together, not fully sure so you could talk to them about selling and pricing regens
It also appear that they might be breeding regens together makes another regen since they dont have any traits to pass on meaning you could make money from the regen pets offspring if it works like that.
Id be interested in purchasing a regen or two if you ever figure out the price your going to sell them for though

Breeding a regen does not create another regen. The trait slots are treated as empty. =)

Like stated, breeding a regen definitely does not get you more of them, that would be pretty gamebreaking to just be able to produce endless regens and 6+ points and let people make whatever 3vis+ pets they wanted. But the being a very limited resource is part of why I'm trying to feel around for a price range. 50k back in '19 when there were probably more of them so soon after the revamp is probably, in my experience, going to have turned into something more valuable now.
There's really not much to go off of unfortunately, price wise. But they can't just sit in my stable, regenning and recoloring is just overwhelming for me lol. But I'm thinking probably in the range of 250k-500k per, depending on the amount of points available, since most of them will be custom 3-6vis pets. The ones that have full color selection available as well, that's basically a 5-6vis custom project already complete without all the breeding. Something like that I feel like ought to go for even more, because projects to get to that point are expensive and time consuming.
Thoughts?

Just as a help to searching for regen pets for sale~ try setting a species, type: Offspring, for Sale, with "nothing" set in all of the trait slots~ (I turned themed off too~) and order by: Price for Sale. That should give you listings. :)

i'm not super good with prieces but that certainly sounds like it would be around a good price.
with a quick look at the advanced search most regenable kelpari's for sale seem to be themed other then these two; a 6 Point, all colours regenable up for 6,000,000 and a simple two colour regen at 45,000.
overall the prices are a bit all over the place tho, with these two 4 point themes at 5,000,000 (A, B) but this 2 point at 250,000, (there might be pattern i'm not spotting tho)
basing the pireces off other regens tho the 250-500k does seem pretty good, i think /Generally/ Kelpari's a bit more popular then Nytekire (price refrence) so selling them at 250k and going up 50/100k for each additional point that's regenable
it would also depend on how quickly you want o get rid of them and how large the demand for them would be
the other priece refrences i found are these (nytekire's)
3 Vis with all colours - 30,000 (A, B)
4 Vis with all colours - 50,000 (A, B, C)
if you make a thread on the pet market you could even sell them as pair's as the two 12 points you have can create a set of project pets right away. meaning someone who doesn't want to have to go through the long processes of breeding a project pet would be interested in them and i can easily see them seeling for 500k or more.
Other price refrence as it seems a lot of it is based on the spieces populatily (no themes)
Lunemara; (seemingly fairly unpopular)
Two colours w/ two carried- 25,000
Two colours w/ two visible- 80,000
4 points all colours - 175,000
7 points all colours - 200,000
Ny'Vene (semi-popular? but the prices are fairly low so people either aren't super interested in buying them or they aren't as popular as i thought)
2 Points all colours - 125,000
3 Points all colours - 100,000
3 Points all colours - 80,000
3 Points all colours - 50,000
5 Points all colours - 300,000
6 Points all colours - 250,000
apologizes for all the text i tend to ramble

One thing to keep in mind with nytes (and possibly a reason they are a lot cheaper than other species' regens) is that the traits you can regen on them are very restricted. For them you can only regen the traits they had before the revamp except in the cases where a) the former trait was split into multiple trait slots - in this case you can choose which of the new traits split from that original trait you want, or b) one of the original traits was moved into the same slot as another trait - this happened a lot with original G2s being moved to G1; in this case either original trait can be chosen for G1 and any pre-revamp trait can be chosen for G2.
Compared to the absolute freedom of Kelparies, Lunemaras, and Ny'venes which can regen any pre-revamp trait, basically making it so you can make tailor-made custom pets from these regen species. Nytekries can't make complete custom pets. You have to work with the traits the pet already had, though the colour regen makes them somewhat customizable.
Also note: luporas are somewhat customizable. For them, most of their mutations are locked to their pre-revamp traits, as most didn't move, and have their genes fully customizable, assuming the original lupora had genes to begin with (fully customizable within the traits available before revamp, of course).
Also.... there is a very small group of lunemaras born on a specific day (the day of the revamp) that were affected by a special little bug: they can regen *any* non-restricted trait that was released up to the point the revamp went live, including all the traits that were included *in* the revamp, so they have quite a few more traits to play with. These lunes, if their owners know, are generally more expensive than others. They were lunes born on August 13, 2017. This bug has never happened before or since, so it is a unique feature of a handful of regen lunes.

I also have Regen lunes that can get traits that were released during the revamp if I remember correctly. I'd have to go through them and check, but I know I had some that have more options than others.
I also know people who have puffs floating around too, which are basically impossible to find from active players and are generally more expensive if you're not swapping regens.
