You arent happy in your life of 9 to 5 jobs, boredom, and lack of... well, of life. You then remember your grandfather, who had passed on a long time ago, left you a secret thing in his will. You double-check the will and realize he left you a new life: a deed to his old farm, in Stardew Valley. Its better than your boring life, so you pack your bags, spend the last of your cash on a bus ticket, and head out to your new life.


Rules:

This is a private RP between you and me, just so i can keep everything sorted.
Any romance besides kisses and cuddles goes to PMS.
A good knowledge of Stardew Valley is expected, or at least helpful in this RP.
You RP only as you character, and no one else without my permission.
Joja Marts subscription service is still a thing, but i would perfer if you dont go down that path because screw capitalism.

After a long and boring ride through empty roads, the bus Georgia was in parked at a small bus stop. A nearby sign said: Pelican Town, Stardew Valley.

Oh, also, forgot to mention. while this RP will be mostly faithful to the origional Stardew Valley in terms of storyline and game stuff, i may implement characters and stuff from mods of the game, like Stardew Valley Expanded. ill likely only do this later in the RP, if things start getting boring. just letting you know.)

A rather young looking woman with bright blue colured eyes and dark hair who looked in her mid or early twenties no older than twenty five stood up from her seat and walked to the front of the bus quickly midning the other people on the bus and turned to the bus driver who driven her out here "Thank you sir have a nice day" she said thanking the bus driver she had a soft British accent perhaps more formal and polite sounding the woman soon stepped off the bus. The woman wore a simple white and blue knee length dress perfect for the spring weather with a denim jacket with a small wolven styled bag that contained a few personal issues manly a photo album of her family a book about greek mythology she brought for the long bus drive and her grandfather's latter and dead to the farm just in case the woman wore her hair up in a messy braided hair bun. The bus doors slowly closed behind her with a small sound and she finally realised how different stardew valley was from the busy loud city and how her life has drastically changed and she hoped it was for the best she couldn't bare leaving her dull empty and lonely life

The driver nodded with a smile and closed the doors behind her. Then, with a rumble, the engine fired up and he drove off.

A few minutes passed of waiting, before a kindly old man in a greet patterned shirt and brown overalls walked over with a soft smile, *hello! Are you the new farmer?* he asked.

Georgia watched the driver quickly drive off and then she noticed the older man "farmer? Oh yes thats me the farmer" she responded and brushed down her jacket "my name is Georgia Greenwood i was mr Mayfair's granddaughter" she repiled softly looked at him she was suprised someone greeting her she assumed she settle in first then talk to him

the man walked over and said, *well, welcome to Pelican Town, Georgia! Im Lewis, the mayor around here. how about you take a look at the farm, hmm?*

Georgia nodded and picked up her bag "hello mr Lewis that be great thank you" she said softly and followed both Lewis and Robin towards her former grandfather's little farm she hopped t was as she remembered little chickens and thay large greenhouse and cute little farmhouse she spend the winter in watching the snow fall and drink hot chocolate and would sneak out to play with a small boy who lived thay as a child

. . . It sadly wasnt that.

The home, while still standing and looking nice, wasnt in the best shape. It was kinda run down and some boards on the walls looked almost rotten. The yard was incredibly overunn with ferns and trees. It was incredibly sad.

Lewis sighed. *the place has seen some. . . Better days. But we can help fix it up.*

Georgia gasped and dropped her bag and it hit the floor with a dull thump making a cloud of dust kicked up from underneath it she was in complete shock at the state of the farm Completely run down and overgrown with trees,weeds,grass and goodness knows what and rocks everywhere "thats one way to describe it" she said and let out a sigh and looked around and back at the farmhouse with rotten wodden boards "at least it's liveable' she added this farm isn't what she planned or invisoned

Lewis nodded. *but over time, you can make it your home and what you really want.* he said softly. *do you need anything?*

Georgia turned around to face lewis "at the moment i don't believe I do hopefully my belongs have arived" she said referring to her clothes, family photo albums several books on greek mythology and her personal item/items. Georgia watched Robin walk towards the house the local red haird carpenter mumbled out loud how she could fix the house up new wood and perhaps a kitchen and second room and a larger main room don't worry im not trying to make you dissatisfied so you buy a house upgrade" she said and Georgia was glad she couldn't afford that at all she probably couldn't afford to buy a tea pot let alone a whole house upgrade
