Air has a debuff that tells you a storm is coming and to take cover. It's either mitigated via block, or via moving? Not sure if thorncoat would override it- each time it showed up I did a block/swap combo, but I uh, wasn't reading the battle log like I probably should have been so I wasn't registering what the actual outcome of it was.

I've found that he tends to ignore crit mitigation - it's most likely avoided by moving pets around. Unfortunately, I've only run into earth and fire xD

A similar debuff (i believe) is cast in his fire phase, which is cleared by moving pets around.

Like with other multi-target moves, if the enemy has Taunt on they all end up on the Taunter


Water move Ice Shield:


Used when the Water form was just below 50% (which was a pain because it put it up right when I was about to use Decimate to do a chunk, and as soon as the water shield ran out it swapped to the next form)


Form changes:

Base form: 24,000,000 > 22,000,000, swap to [random element], swap to HP bar section of 3,000,000.

E-Form 1: 3,000,000 > ~1,500,000?, swap to [second element], swap to HP bar section of 2,000,000
(boss total: 22m > ~20.5m?)
EF2: 2,000,000 > ?
(boss total: ~20.5m? > ?)


-edit because I just remembered-
also what's the "mote of mana" mentioned in the document? It makes it sound like an Add should be summoned, but I've not seen one at all?

The mote of mana is an enemy that spawns upon defeating an elemental form. You have 5 turns to defeat it. Disappears on the 6th turn. Grants your team a big chunk of mana on defeat.

I... haven't seen it at all? It's just been Big-n-angry alone, the whole time. Do the elemental forms like. Come back again even when they've swapped to a different one or something and "defeating" one is different from "it changed form"?

So the mote of mana appears if you reduce his elemental form to 0hp in less than 30 turns. If he goes directly into another elemental form without transforming back, he gains an annoying buff as 'failure' to interrupt his casting thingy >.>

Edit: it looks like the water shield you have an example of in ur post is the penalty buff for failing to defeat his form in time? unsure

Edit 2: or not. xD I havent been able to defeat the water form, but can routinely take down earth. I think water needs a bit of balancing - hits all pets quite hard, quite often.

Not sure, maybe if you're using the air skill after a boost it could be killing it? However he needs to return to his base form for the mote to spawn. If he switches elements before you kill the element I'm not sure.

As for returning forms, in all the runs I've done I've never seen a form return in the same run. However with that being said, I've only ever hit form 4/5 max on all my runs. I seem to die between 170-210 turns depending on which elements I'm dished. Both fire and air are dangerous late game.

I'm working out patterns but I don't know the ins and outs of them yet ^^
Say, we might be able to not block at max mana on one of the forms and what not.

For reference - my team is Earth/Air/Light
