Please can someone help me, i not getting notifications or pings I'm getting worried about missing people. I have checked but no one's in my blocked list and my username is spelt correctly so i can't understand why im having this issue

Please can someone help I'm worried ill miss important things or worse having people/friends assuming that I'm ignoring them or have blocked them

I think this probably should go into bug reporting? My friends been having the same issue but he has severe anxiety so I have been offering to make a bug report for him, but because he isnt getting the notifs that Im messaging him, its been a long process to get all the details lol.

Unfortunately, when you block someone's pings (on purpose or by accident), this block doesn't show on your blocked players list, nor can you undo it yourself. Only Krin can fix it. My guess is that, at some point, those that are having this issue hit the 'block pings' button (red circle with line through it) instead of the 'x' on a ping at some point, accidentally blocking pings from those specific other players.

To check this, you can message Krinadon and ask him if you have any players' pings blocked, then ask him to unblock them if this is the issue. Or you can wait for him to see this post, I guess lol.

If this doesn't end up being the problem, then yes, it would be a bug that needs to be checked out. However, since we can't see our blocked pings ourselves, I would definitely recommend checking this possibility first.

Well, its not the forums for my friend. Its the inbox thats the problem. And I know he doesnt have me blocked because he can still see my messages. I was just adding my two cents on this since someone else said they were having a problem and I was like my friends having the same one!

Huh, that's interesting. Is it that your messages aren't going to his inbox? Or is it just not showing that he has a new message when there is one? I assume the second, since you say he can still see your messages? If it is a possible accidental blocking in the inbox, though, he should check the inbox, then click the 'contacts' tab in there (far right), then click on the drop down at the bottom of the tab (reads 'contacts' normally) and choose 'blocked'. This will show any players whose messages have been blocked and give the option to unblock them.

If you've already walked through this with him and it hasn't helped, then I'm sorry to go over it again. Just wanted to be sure that all possible fixes have been tried before you go through the trouble of making a bug thread (which, again, I would agree should be created if that doesn't help).

I know it's weird, but the ping blocks and the inbox messages blocks are two different systems, so probably two different problems/solutions going on here.

It sounded to me in the first message that Georgia was not getting the notifs from the box that shows you how much gold and diamonds you have, etc. My friend has the same problem in his box, where it wont show him any of the notifs for his inbox anymore. Which is why I connected the two problems. I'll try seeing if he blocked me, which I hadnt before because I thought if you blocked somebody you wouldnt see any messages from them in your inbox at all.

Okay, yeah, if he's still getting your messages but it's not showing the notification, that would be something I'd put in the bug forum. You're right that if he accidentally blocked you that he wouldn't get the messages at all. I do know that there are issues with the little box on the top right not showing everything all the time, but doesn't hurt to bring the specific issue to Krin's attention ^.^

And you might be right and I'm mistaken about what Georgia was reporting. I was assuming they weren't getting the pings at all. If it's just a case of them not showing up in the box at the top, then it would be a similar issue as the one affecting your friend.

Hopefully both issues can be fixed, either way ^.^
