I have a few questions.

1. How do you get essences?
2. How do you get gold fast?
3. How do you get trade points?

3 What is a Trade Point? Do you mean TRAIT point? I'll assume given the essence question that it is what you meant.
Trait points are the term used to refer to, well, how many traits a sylesti has. Wild green star pet = 1 carry = 1 trait point, wild blue star pet = 1 vis or 2 carries = 2tp etc.

Under most circumstances the amount a pet has is fixed from the moment of its creation. The only exception is with a Tamed pet if you use a Lesser genetic Mutator (can add either 1 carry (1tp) or 1 vis (2tp), or a Greater genetic mutator, Lucky mutator, or Lovely mutator (1 vis (2tp) of player's choice, within the parameters of the mutator)
(items like Disruptors only shuffle the tp a pet has around)
