I know this is infantile to the rest of you, but when I joined this site I became obsessed with the Cute Witch Zolnixi on the front page and my first project became getting one just like it. Which I know that seems easy they are so readily available and not that complicated of a theme but if you are privy to how hard I've struggled with this site-- it's a big deal.
I went through many trial and errors to figure out how to do it right. As in. I did it the really stupid, over-complicated hard way at first to no success. (I went through pains to dye a boy to get close to the theme colors, and got very close, only to realize It would never get the tag -facepalm-) then ~happened~ to snatch a pure-bred boy annnnd... and she is now my first baby achievement and I treasure her.
In the process of trying to engineer a purebred (spoilers: not possible) I came up with a color scheme I like better than the breed standard ? So you know what, I will mark that a victory. (The veterans are cringing as we speak.)
