Hello!! I'm Unit and new to Sylestia. I recognize this may be a very short run, but I'm enjoying the explore/combat system more than I expected, and I prefer focusing on one bean when possible.

This is Geist:



(She is having a pretty healthy good time now, but I sense this will change as I progress.)

Except for when I need another pet to progress the story (looking at you rockfalls), I will only be battling with Geist! This thread is so I can record how it goes, and the RNG/strategies/etc involved. (It won't all fit on my profile.)

Advice (and roasts) welcome! I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm having a nice time doing it. B)

How it's going so far:

- Sylestia Completion: 7.38%

- Her 100% battle record was broken after 314 battles, when she got bonked by the Grotto cave-in twice lol.

- For almost all of these, I focused on intelligence and magic damage gear because I can't read.

- Also for almost all of these, I did not realize that "in battle" did not mean "actively exploring" and so only used non-elixir items and the healer when not working on an area. (Again, because I can't read.)

- I have spent a lot of gold on elixirs and gear.

- "Attrition" might have been a more accurate name, for either myself or Geist.

- I don't trust Jinxie's advice anymore.

I genuinely love not being able to over-level relevant content, but sometimes getting just 1 experience point is funny.



This ended up not being too difficult, though -4.3k health off the bat sure did me a frighten.




I finally did the Nightfall Bandit Dungeon, and being level 52 definitely helped lol.

A very fun challenge. You're making good progress so far!

It's probably a bit out of your reach right now, but you should look into max stat/super stat pets. They would make a one-pet challenge a lot easier to pull off. =)
