my husband is struggling to finish his sculpture, he cannot find any of the prismatic or gold pearls, and neither can I! how in the world do you find those? we're struggling to even get fishing rods to get the clams or pearls or anything, is there any way to buy these items? specifically the pearls? we would both really like to finish the sculpture!
thanks for any help guys <33

You get pearls from Clams which can be obtained from:
- Battling enemies in the Fest Zone. I think there may also be a possibility to get them from Chests in the zone, but I'm not certain, so I won't guarantee it.
I think you can only get Regular Clams this way, but I'm not entirely certain.
- Buying them with Sun Tokens from the Fest Shop(Clickable Link). You have to use the Sun Tokens from your inventory to add them to your fest shop. You can only buy Regular Clams from here, not Premium.
- Buying them from the Diamond Shop(Link)(Can only buy Premium clams there, not Regular).
- Buying them from other users off the Trade Broker(Link) for Gold under the Miscellaneous section.
- Contest/Leaderboard Pouches(Obtained through participating in a Leaderboard(Clickable link) contest and achieving a certain amount of points or Leaderboard rank when the contest ends).
-From the Beach Seeking game.
(I think I listed all the ways, but apologies if I didn't remember one)
- For the Leaderboard, for every 1000 points you earn using a Sylesti to battle, you get a contest reward pouch. Using three Sylestis of the same species would be a good idea since that'll give you three points for that Sylesti species per enemy defeated.
On the Nurture portion, for every 500 points you earn by nurturing 500 of a particular species(As an example, you nurture 500 Vulnyx), you get a contest reward pouch. You get Leaderboard reward pouches from being in the top 15 on a leaderboard, and from completing certain leaderboard tasks on the Festival Task(Link) Page.
- The Beach Seeking Games allows you to use the Majestic(Only available from buying with diamonds, reward pouches, and completing Tasks), Wooden and Iron Shovels, and Fishing Rods you either get from fighting enemies, completing tasks, and buying from the fest shop for sun tokens, to click off tiles to get rewards. You can find Regular and Prismatic clams this way, as well as other items. You have to use these tools from your inventory to have them added to your beach-seeking supplies.
Regular Clams - Gives either 1 Mundane Pearl(1 Visible or I think two carried if Majestic), or 1 Gold Pearl(2 Visible or 1 Visible if a Majestic Sculpture)
Premium Clams - Gives either 2-3 Mundane Pearls, 1 Gold Pearl, or 1 Prismatic Pearl(3 Visible or 2 visible if a Majestic sculpture)
For 50k gold and 10 mundane pearls, on the Sylesti sculpting page, you can make a Gold Pearl. For 250k gold and 10 Gold Pearls, you can make a Prismatic Pearl.
You'd do this by clicking a Pearl and thing hitting the Green Upgrade Pearl button to view your options.

While you don't need 3 party slots to play in Esior's Cove, it would make the battling significantly easier. I'd suggest playing through the storyline until you get to Umbra's Forest, where you can unlock the third party slot in the Sanctuary of Saerielle, in the Plaza.
Making sure you have the right gear on your pets is also a good option(Epic rarity and above is typically the way to go, but I understand buying better gear may not be an option right now).
Each Element has certain stats that match it, so try to use gear that matches the stats of those elements:
Water - Strength and Agility
Air - Strength and Dexterity
Shadow - Intelligence and Agility
Earth - Agility and Strength
Fire - Intelligence and Dexterity
Light - Intelligence and Agility
Additionally, as you level your pets, they get proficiency points at levels 0, 30, 60, 65, and 75. Make sure to attune these points to one of the matching stats of their element(Or to health), on your pet. It'll help them a lot in battle.

Clams can be obtained from beach seeking, from chests and enemy drops in the fest zone, from completing certain task log tasks (such as the daily task "Use Sculpting Agent on another Player's Sculpture x/3"), a possible drop from Contest Reward Pouches and Leaderboard reward pouches, and by buying them (from players on the trade broker, from fest shop (regular clam, 150 sun tokens) or diamond shop (premium clam, 60 diamonds))
Teams, generally yes having the third party slot unlocked once you reach sanctuary of saerielle is the optimal, but let's have a look.
Firstratlord
Looking at the team, immediate thing of note, equips are a lot of uncommons (bad but understandable at such a low level), lots of low level (0s in this case, 5's are eh, but the team isn't that high of a level overall, so mostly the 0s that are the issue), and not matched to the elements of the pets (LOTS of strength-focused equips on them, when they're both Magic/Intelligence elements.)
Erend, being a light pet in a two-pet team, should be in slot 1 and have Illusionist gear, raising his Intelligence (damage output) and Agility (defence, evasion, speed) stats
Aloy being fire wants Evoker gear, to raise Int and Dexterity (accuracy, critical hit rate, speed).
Unfortunately there aren't really any equips in the broker we can buy to toss over and out small pile of lv10 medium mission satchels didn't provide on the magic relic front (very rude, only one relic and it was a phys-type relic. so many strength equips when I want int ones,,, satchels so rude to me today), but I can provide armor for both and two bracelets
Floridavulture
Since these pets are over lv25, you want to generally be using lv25 legendary (or epic failing that) equips, which are generally pretty easy to get since they drop from lv25 very hard mission satchels, so they can be commonly found fairly cheap on the trade broker.
I DO have a lot of lv25 vh mission satchels, so I can supply some gear from those
Mania as shadow, should be slot 1 and equipped Illusionist for Int/Agi
Polyphemos as fire, same as Aloy- Evoker for Int/Dex
I suggest checking out Hundenelsker's Guide to Mission Pets and Missions, since mission satchel rewards can help a lot (gold, healing items, equips, and what equips and healing items you won't use you can sell)

As an add-on to my first post, reading over the festival overview may help explain how the Festival works:
https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=106655&page=1#1
Additionally, Pearls only determine the amount of traits a pet has. To get your sculpture to complete, you have to tend to it using the Block of Sand, Vial of Seawater, and Essence of sun.
Cracked - Vial of Seawater
Deformed - Block of Sand
Soaked - Essence of Sun
A lot of users will tend to your sculpture for you, especially if you post the link to your Sandsculpting page in the Region Chat. Tending other's sculptures gives Sun Tokens to those who do it.
-
Additional Sculpting Information:
Siren Tears - Makes the stats on the pet higher. You can add 8, in groups of two, four times.
Blue Sap - 6 makes the pet male.
Pink Sap - 6 makes the pet female.
Sea Pebbles - Allows you to pick a specific gene or mutation spot on your pet. You can pick the specific gene or mutation, but you can pick if your pet has Gene 1, Gene 2, Gene 3, Mutation 1, Mutation 2, or Mutation.
These cost 2 per slot chosen, and the amount of slots you choose are determined by the amount of trait slots your pet has(Such as a two visible having two slots you can decide on).
Enriched Sand - Takes 2 each and the amount you can add is determined by the amount of visible traits(Such as you can add two hidden traits if the pet is two visible).
It will add a hidden trait on a visible trait, which will basically give the pet a Dominant and Recessive trait.
When gene tested, pets with hidden traits will show as purple on the traits with hidden, like this One(Link). In Gene one FK, meaning he has Appaloosa visible, and Bengal Fade hidden. In Mutation three, he has Guad Horns visible, and Jewled Bows hidden.
Enriched Sand cannot be used on Majestic sculptures since Majest sculptures are restricted trait and can only have traits from their restricted trait set on them.

Also, I realized, I missed a specific part of your question, apologies for that.
Yes, you can buy specific Pearl types (Mundane, Gold, and Prismatic), from other users. I'd check the Item Marketplace(Link) to see if anyone is selling the Pearls you're looking for.
Since the Pearls would have already been opened and put in their Sand Scultping supplies, what they'd do is trade it to you through the Sand Sculpting(It'll be added to your supplies), likely after sending you a CoD in player trades(Or setting up a Diamond exchange if you were to buy with Diamonds).
You'd have to accept their CoD in your player trades to pay them for the Pearl since you can't send a CoD through Beach Sclupting.
For reference, if you ever need to send someone a CoD to pay you, you'd pick an item from your inventory you don't really use, like a Fairy Mushroom, click it, hit the little Envelope with the green arrow under the inventory slots, and then fill out the pop up that comes up.
In Recipient, you'd put the username of the User who's paying you.
In CoD, you'd put the price they're supposed to pay you, such as 5000.
You'd then hit the Send Item button(It'll be greyed out until you have put in a username, but after you have, it'll have lit up green).
