I have a question.

I was trying to breed my active pet, Galaxy, who is a female zolnixi, and it wasn't an option.

What can I do?

Galaxy is your starter pet- the reason she cannot breed isn't that she's your active pet, it's that she's an adolescent (all pets made via the generator, including starters, begin life at the start of adolescence, 216 maturity hours), and pets cannot breed until they reach adulthood (648 maturity hours)

If you go to her pet page, you can see:
"Birthday: 11-12-2023 1:30:49PM
Age: 3 Hours
Maturity: Adolescent (220/648)"
(pets that have not been genetically tested will not show the numbers in brackets, just tell you the life stage, but generator-made pets come auto-tested)

so with some simple maths,
648-220
=428 hours
/24
=17.8 days until she's an adult and can breed

oh nah, it's something that trips a lot of newbies up.
You can still see potential breeding outcomes with hatchling and adolescent sylesti that you own in the breeding generator by using the 'include' checkboxes and then hitting 'update'

(The breeding generator is currently the next major feature looking to be revamped, actually! All the people who do a lot of breeding are waiting in tense anticipation for that to be finished and released- it's been a long time coming and there are a lot of features people want the revamp to have)
