Winter Festival - Gingerbread House
The object of this contest is to build a real life Gingerbread House using edible materials! This is not a digital contest, so no digital entries. You can't eat pixels.
Rules
1. Your Gingerbread House must be built by using any type of food. You are not required to use gingerbread. You are free to use crackers, other types of bread, chocolate, candy, etc. However, you must use real food in this contest! The small use of non food items (like toothpicks) are allowed to improve the structural integrity of your submission. They must be used sparingly though and it must be obvious that your submission consists of actual edible materials.
2. When building your Gingerbread House, you must take at least 3 pictures of the process with your Username and "2023 Winter Festival" physically visible. Here is an example of how this should look:
You do not need to post them in a grid like this. I just did this to save space.
Here is a link to last year's contest for reference:

3. When you are finished with your entry, come back to this thread and post it here.
A Player Guide on How to Upload Images
4. You must create your entry on your own! You cannot have someone else build your Gingerbread House for you, although having some assistance is perfectly fine and reasonable. All submissions must also be brand new; you cannot use previous submissions. Lastly, please try and come up with your own unique designs. Obviously, using a kit is okay to do and those will probably be similar because kits are generally universal. What I am referring to would be copying someone else's previous design from a past contest and redoing it as your own; some of you have come up with some pretty awesome unique designs in the past!
If you have never created a Gingerbread House before, here are some handy tutorials to get you started:

5. All submissions must look like they required some measurable amount of effort in order to qualify for prizes. For example, stacking two slices of bread together is not going to qualify.
6.Please do not reserve posts. Only post when you are ready to submit an entry. If your entry is still ongoing, you may post early with the progress that you currently have and edit your post as you finish.
7.Please do not ping me unless you have a specific question or concern that I need to address. Thank you.
8. The due date for submitting your entry is by the end time of Forum Games for the Winter Festival. Please refer to the eventual Overview thread for this final date. The Overview thread will be posted once the Winter Festival officially begins.
Prizes
All submissions will be judged by Krinadon and Faiona. We will announce winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Everyone who submits a valid entry will be awarded very nice participation prizes as well as the Title: Gingerbread Architect.
All non-winning Participants will be entered into a drawing where 3 Lucky Winners will win 2,000, 1,000, and 500 Diamonds, respectively.

Okay, I got excited about trying this using toast so I'll start. I used uncooked spaghetti to hold it together! I saw it in a TikTok video and it worked pretty well. It's not the prettiest house ever but I had fun. I also used some stale bread I needed to use up anyway.
So much promise at this point:
Got the roof on and it's a bit saggy but holding together:
The finished product with my signature incredibly-messy-to-an-incomprehensible-degree icing. Those lumps in the front are supposed to be bushes. There are two trees, but I put one behind the house so it doesn't really show.

Most the things I used making this, excluding decorations
melted yellow/orange candy as glass
constructing
ran out of white near the end
I'm totally ok with taking a bite out of the trees if needed to prove their edible, might do so eventually anyways :3
More colors for windows & door:
used remote controlled lights inside so I could change the color whenever
My mom called it a "rave house"

I used a kit as I've never made one before, also put the images into a grid because I didnt feel like uploading a lot of images plus I wanted to show off all the sides of the finished project

i totally forgot about the nametag thing oops..its in the last one so hopefully that still counts? sorry!!
ive wanted to make a little camp scene with gingerbread for a while, but i never had an excuse to make one...so here i go i guess!! unfortunately i didnt have any gingerbread on me, but i instead used graham crackers, melted marshmallows, pocky sticks, gummy bears, and an airhead.
started by making the tents, i cracked three graham crackers in half and used the smaller crackers to create the shape for the tent. then i put it all together by adding half of a pocky stick.
i was halfway through making the fire (which i couldn't get a picture of unfortunately, my hands were so sticky from the marshmallows!!) when i realized that the gummy bears wouldn't have a place to sit. with this in mind, i made them a cute little love seat. not the most important detail, but it's one i definitely liked to include.
and then i put everything together! i put the two tents next to each other, crumbled up some extra graham crackers to make a little dirt spot, placed the seat, the fire in the center, and finally the gummy bears!*
*their names are, from left to right, henry, jolene, martha, and bobby also im still so sorry about the name stuff, i was so focused i didn't even realize :-(
