Winter Festival - Winter Hero

Please do not ping me unless you have a question.

1. Visit the Wardrobe and craft your own Winter Hero! Your Hero must be related to the winter season in some fashion, whether through weather, a holiday, etc. You may use any Avatar Items available in the Wardrobe, even if you do not own them. Your Hero can be entirely fictional.

2. You must submit exactly 1 image of your design.

3. Your submission should include a brief biography or story of your Hero, encompassing both their successes or setbacks. Please share why they are considered a hero.

4. Please do not re-use any previous Avatar Dress Up submissions. You must create a new Character.

5. Please do not steal or use other players' Characters. You must create this Character on your own. Blatant copying of other players' Character will disqualify you from winning and may even ban you from future Forum Games. Please create your own Character.

6. The due date for submitting your entry is the end date for Forum Games posted in the Winter Festival Overview thread.

An angel who fell a long time ago, Seraphine has been tirelessly working to redeem themselves ever since.

As an unknown sylestian Guardian of winter blizzards, Wynter set out as in a mortal form to seek fame and glory. She has defeated countless enemies and saved many villages in the mountains. She is known as Keeper of the Snowstorms. Her trusty steed, Blizzard has saved her countless times on their icy travels. Wynter has saved many mountain villages from her nemesis, the daughter of the Pyromancer of Du'vhal. They have fought many times and Wynter has always prevailed.

Some heros are born to save the world. Some have destinies planned out for them since the day they were born. Not Avillee. Definitely not Avillee.
Before her father, the king, passed away due to an unfortunate sheep-fighting incident, he left a cryptic message for his heirs. A message never meant to be carried out by Avillee, since the king had a son, but then he moved to a neighboring country and was never heard from again. So Avillee it is.
She set out, eager to prove herself, but then remembered she had absolutely no idea what the cryptic message said (It was very cryptic.) But did that stop her? NO! With a dash of naivety, a low tolerance for cold, (Which is bad because the Elven Kingdom is very cold this time of year) and a high likelihood getting distracted by shiny or cute things, Avillee's off, the kingdom's only hope to save their frozen elven home. At least she's pretty sure. She needs to read that cryptic message again.

"I am the guardian of this here frozen lake," said the figure, "It is my duty and has been for a very long time, to protect the lake and those within it."
The guardian of the frozen lake was once a normal human in the world of Sylestia, however, his beloved wife once fell prey to some Nightfall Bandits. He spent his days walking by the icy shores the two of them used to roam. The ice didn't thaw that summer or any summer for the rest of his life. He spent his whole life praying to the goddess that one day, he may be reunited with his wife. On his deathbed, the goddess came to him.
"My child," she said, "This lake will forever remain frozen, as it has since your wife died. She has been reincarnated as a beautiful Syvlpora, living beneath the surface. Protect her, and this lake, forevermore. You will no longer be human, but you will be strong, and command all of the syvlporas within this lake in order to protect it. After all, the surface may be frozen, but beneath the ice is a thriving colony of syvlpora. Goodbye, my child."
Forever, the guardian will protect the lake and it's inhabitants, and the little cabin he used to live in with his wife.

The Blue Lady

In the high mountains, there lives a being from antiquity.

Dryad or nymph,
modern humans seem to struggle to tell the difference.

There are different accounts as to which lands she inhabits - for many claim to have seen her.
Perhaps there are more than one of her, similar beings, all committed to the same task -
or perhaps she lives a nomadic or inter-dimensional life, travelling or simply appearing where she is most needed.

Those who claim to have seen her all share similarities.
They were lost and freezing in a winter snow,
high up in a mountain range.
Theyd lost all hope.

When a beautiful, blue angel with piercing but overwhelmingly kind red eyes appeared before them.
In each case, she found them shelter, built a fire, fed them a warm stew, and wrapped them in a large, warm cloak.

Shed talked to them in a voice that didnt sound like anything theyd ever heard - but somehow they understood her, and she them.

When they were strong enough, shed lead them down the mountain, into the closest village.
Or, in rare cases Ive heard,
shed lead search parties to them.

And then, shed be gone.
Even before thank you halted on their lips.

None who claim to have seen her could or would reveal much about her, outside of her kindness and warmth and her part in their own journey to safety.

But I, for one, have not lost hope of finding her one day and of becoming a friend to her as she has been to so many.

Soliel
Daughter of the Sun


Traveling through the clouds, Soliel, the daughter of the sun, noticed village deep in the icy forest. Once lively, now struggling in winter's icy grip, the people huddled, freezing in the bitter cold.

Filled with sympathy, Soliel decided she must help. She descended gracefully, shining her warm, golden light upon the freezing village. Seeing them fight to survive, she gifted each person an inner warmth to fight off the biting chill. The inner warmth was fueled by love and compassion, for community and for the surrounding forest.

But as time passed, jealousy brewed in nearby villages. They heard about Soliel's amazing gift and wanted it for themselves. Rumors spread like wildfire, and soon, eyes turned covetous towards the forest village, craving what Soliel had given.

One harsh winter, a group from a neighboring village, fueled by jealousy, barged into the forest demanding Soliel's gift. Their demand turned aggressive, disrupting the once peaceful village.

Soliel's heart broke to see her gift causing division when it was meant to bring unity. She saw the villagers on the brink of battle and flew in to stop them. She explained that the sun offers the gift to anyone who chooses to accept it. They only need to embrace it and fill their hearts with love and compassion.

Understanding dawned on the intruders. Their jealousy melted away, replaced by admiration. Soliel urged them to appreciate what they had rather than covet others' gifts, teaching them about unity and empathy.

Leaving with newfound understanding, the outsiders respected the bond between Soliel and her people.

The village continued honoring Soliel's kindness with an annual celebration, not just for her gift but to remind everyone of the strength found in togetherness and gratitude.

As Soliel resumed her celestial journey, she left behind a united village, not just warmed by her gift, but by the wisdom that true wealth comes from love and compassion.
