Hey.
I have now for months tryed to beat the crystalline behemoth in the caverns in lost grove.
So far i get to where it have summoned the 2 small wurms 2 times and i killed those then short after it kills my whole party.
Im not quite sure what im doing wrong honestly but im about to loose my patience and hope to get past it and i feel really annoyed about that i cant get past it but how is it possible defeat a beast with 1,5 million HP
with pets alot lower than that.
I have tryed now with 2 different partys, my second party is lvl 74 and i tryed swap around armor so all have Stoneweave on no matter which party i use but it ends the same spot every time no matter what.

Party 1: is on rank 4-5
Party 2: is on rank 1-2

Party 2 is fairly new thats why the ranks are different but they have higher stats than party 1.

Hope someone can help me with something that can help me beat that wurm.

I have Blacksmith unlocked, Temple of light Rank 2, Training grounds Rank 2, Trackers hut Rank 3 and Trading Post Rank 2.

here is the Woerm Beating Teams thread, which has links to all four of the guides people have written to battling the woerm, in addition to listing people's experiences to use as references. But as some other observations:

> upgrade Training Grounds to 3 for highest passive buffs to your team and most effective activatable mega-boss debuff on woerm. Same for Trading Post. Once you have Trading Post rank 3, you can get Lesser Ent Flasks. Having ent flasks active going into a tough fight can help a lot.
(>> Temple of Light, not so much point upgrading until you have beaten the woerm and have supplies to upgrade it to +5, when the buff you can get from it evolves from magikarp-tier to gyarados-tier usefulness.)

> stats on team 1 should work fine, being max stats, but their gear being +1 stoneweave at max (and one non-lg equip*)(Ysera of team 2's one +2sw being the exception) might be making it a little bit trickier. People have done it with full unupgraded stoneweave (or the equivalent average of VT +2/+3) however, so it's not an impossible feat or anything, just harder.

(* non-lg equips just fall entirely short of lg equips once you've got anything that's base VT or higher. They give less to everything. more then 300 less hp, almost 30 less mana, and the highest stat boost they give is also almost 30 less than base VT's highest)


> team 2 not having their attacks ranked will be their biggest hindrance; attack ranks make a lot of difference (eg, light's Beam doesn't swap from having a 50% chance to heal the party to being guaranteed heal to the party until rank 3.) Damage amounts, move costs, mana generation, debuff chances and effectiveness etc all increase as ranks rise, and it is noticeable

I try to get their gear to rank 2-3 and training ground higher too.
Another thing is, is there a way to lvl their ranks faster too ? Seems like taking forever.

Philter of expedient learning affects attack rank exp

The Grand Protector's Insignia artifact you can earn from patriotic event also increases rank exp

Using the moves as much as possible to get usage exp in addition to win exp


Elites give more rank exp than regulars, and bosses give more than them, but sadly the best place to rank grind is the Temple itself, which you uh, need to beat the woerm to access.
If you have the funds there are people who rank pets for others using it, at the least.

(not currently relevant but Maws of Madness has rank exp as part of the prizes for winning)


(Sadly, Lost Grove Exp Event bonus only increases level exp)

(But yes it does take ages especially pre-Woerm)
