What do pet names in purple mean? Were they obtained a certain way? I've only seen them in advanced search, so I imagine they're very rare or special in some way.



Is there a color guide to user/pet names? I know admins are red, but this is the first time I've seen a pet name that wasn't blue.

Those pets have Certified Names! Some past events have had certified named pets as prizes, meaning their name is auto-generated by the site and displays as purple, like ones made in the shell game of this fest: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=103410&page=1

Some people keep lists of the names, for example: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=87928. You'll notice their names tend to fit a "Name Compoundword" format.


When it comes to usernames, on the forums red = admin and blue = regular user. On certain places like the trade broker, a red name indicates the user is offline and green is online.
