Been a while since I had a question I could not immediately answer. So I was looking through the themed codex, the Ferrikki one specifically, and I saw that some of the rare, red-named ones have names like 'Faerina's Praetorian Ferrikki' and 'Malgorus's Tyrannical Ferrikki.' 'Faerina' and 'Malgorus' are the names of characters in this game right? Are they enemies?

If they are enemies, does that mean the Ferrikki's are their help companions? And does that mean there's like a SUPER impossibly rare chance when you defeat the 'boss' with those names that an egg or Ferrikki from that battle will drop?

If they aren't enemies and are just regular characters in this game, does it mean those red-named Ferri's are just a festival, majestic seed/catalyst/whatever for a particular festival in the past?

the red names in the themed codex are the names of Majestic themes, such as the currently growable Embervine Natureguard aeridini and Candy Dryad lunemara

(However, in the cases of those specifically mentioned ferrikki themes- the ones with the Elemental restricted set- they are only obtainable as a chance egg drop from a boss- specifically from the final boss of the lost grove, Vexxar. They are not battle companions for him or anything, though)

Malgorus, Faerina, and Malgorus are names of gods in Sylestia. There's also Raith, Vaeluna, and Saphryn. They each have an element associated with them and occasionally there's a reference to them in the game mostly through items. You can also see which element is associated with which by looking at the proficiency pages of pets. The final lvl 75 abilities of each proficiency type is named after them.
