I was trying to add an image to my about me the other day, but the image would not show up.

I posted a screenshot to Imgur, grabbed the link, and did (without the spaces and no link):
[img} LINK HERE [/img]

Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to post images to the about me?

Well this is just what I do, and it seems to work for me:
[img]LINKTOIMAGE[/img]
However, since you used Imgur, unless you use the three dots dropdown on the image and hit the button that says "get share links" and then the button "BBCode (Forums)" and copy THAT link, it wont show up.

with imgur, make sure you are using the Image url link, not the link to the main imgur page it is on

https://i.imgur.com/QvwFHzf.png = image url

image urls from most places have .png/.jpg/.gif etc

the way Eid0lon suggests works, you can also right click and use 'copy image url' or open the image in a new tab and copy from the url bar

Well I just learned it from someone else on here, but on Imgur if you add a lowercase L, M, or S, (large, medium, and small respectively) at the end of the url, right before the .png or whatever it will resize the image to your desired size!
