Create a Leaf Sylesti



Happy Fall Festival everyone! The object of this game is to go outside and gather up some pretty leaves and design one of the Sylestia species!

Here is an example image from a previous contest.




Rules

1. Your creation must include at least one species from Sylestia that is totally designed from leaves.

2. You are allowed to make more than one Sylesti or create an overall scene, but everything needs to be 'built' with leaves and be contained within one scene/picture.

3. You can use glue/tape or whatever is necessary to hold the leaves together to form a general shape.

4. Please make sure to take at least 4 process pictures with your username and date in the picture.

5. Due date is the end of the Fall Festival.


Prizes

Everyone that participates will receive a participation prize along with the forum title: Leaf Bender, there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. Winners will be selected by the admins.

Quick question can we use twigs and pinecones and nuts or pods as part of the fall foliage or can it only be leaves? Also can the leaves be shaped and cut or does it have to maintain their original shape?

You can use other natural 'accessories', but I want the leaves to be the main focus and the bulk of the creation. So, for example, like using an acorn for an eye is acceptable.

You can bend/cut leaves to different shapes.

Here is my leaf griffi; it was much harder than I thought it would be! I used my stencil from the pumpkin carving thread. I think it turned out decent!

We don't have that many fallen leaves that aren't eucalyptus around here at this time of year so stealing off of plants it was
