About Me
Hello, I'm Luxa! My username is from the series Gregor The Overlander, my favorite series as a middleschooler / highschooler.
I've been on Sylestia on and off since I joined in 2015. I enjoy the community a lot, and chatting with people sometimes. I have goals in the game, but nothing I'm super dedicated to. Sometimes real life kicks up and I have to take a step back.
I went to college for a Psychology degree, as well as a Biology minor and Neuroscience certification. In the future, I want to go back to school to pursue counseling.
Currently, I work full time with teenagers as an assistant teacher, at a residential facility. It's extremely chaotic and can be very rough, so this game is a bit of a mental break. Work is busier than normal as my three person department went to a one person department~
I'm pretty introverted in real life, and have always struggled with social anxiety. I was medicated at one point, but my counselor and I agreed that I can manage alright without it. I'm definitely very interested in the mental health field; it's important.

My all time favorite animal is a Fennic Fox. Foxes in general are adorable. Cats are a close second favorite. I've had three cats, two whom have passed away, and one who I had to rehome when my family moved. I'm an adult, but I started playing this game in highschool. I'm not sure if I actually used my real birthday when I signed up, and I don't know how to check at this point.
I like reading, games, watching tv, and listening to podcasts and music.
The game Stardew Valley is an obsession of mine that will wax and wane, but never dies. Hollow Knight is another favorite of mine, though I keep getting stuck and restarting, so I've never actually beat the game. Someday... Ori and the Blind Forest is also a game I really enjoyed! It has such pretty graphics, I definitely recommend it. Little Nightmares is <3
My favorite color is purple, and I especially love color hex 7800ab.
I enjoy darker animes, with Tokyo Ghoul and Psycho Pass being my all time favorites. An exception to my normal type is Ouran High School Host Club - the complete opposite of what I normally watch, but too cute to not enjoy! I also enjoy listening to K-pop and watching K-dramas. Stray Kids is my current obsession.
I've been obsessed with several TV shows in the past, like Supernatural, The 100, Hannibal, Arcane, Sweet Home, and NCIS.
I'm open to talking about shared interests and hobbies- I fangirl over things pretty hard, and don't judge people.
I like darker themes and color schemes. I've got four tattoos so far, but saving up to get more. Also hoping to get more piercings in the future.
I think that's a pretty good summary of me~
I figure I may use this thread to keep track of some of my sylesita stuff I've got going on, so maybe don't post quite yet

My goals for Winter Festival 2024
- Complete the Fundle without buying/trading supplies with any players
- Buy all new festival shop avatar items (8.4k tokens) - Enter the Winter Wonderland 10 times (12k tokens) - Complete all Snow Wars tasks
- Complete all Contest Reward Pouch tasks - Catch 50 themed pets
Yayyyy I did all the tasks in the task log!
