I have one stable with two tabs, and my pets are divided between those tabs. When I hit the "feed pets" button and the little window pops up, the "all stables" option says I have 20 more pets than I actually do (48 vs 28) and that it will cost 480 more gold to use that option (1,270 vs 790).

I believe the "feed pets" includes hatchery pets! So it counts your hatchery as an additional stable, though someone is free to correct me if I'm wrong!

Ember is correct, any adolescents in your hatchery will be fed as well if you choose feed all

Ah, good to know! Honestly I hadn't really thought about how the hatchery pets got food lol.

I think there is still a bug somewhere though. After reading this I went to my hatchery and I have 23 adolescents, not 20. The feed all option still says there are only 20 more than there are in the stable. I guess there are too few???

I just had a quick look and it looks like your last 3 adolescent pets have only just aged up so they haven't lost any hunger points yet! From the few that I checked all the other pets still needed to be fed, so 20 looks like it is the correct number! :]
