Hey guys, first of all - Hi. Really enjoying Sylestia so far! Love the questing/exploring/missions setup that it has going on. Second of all - I'm a huge breeder in games like this. Love experimenting, breeding etc... You'll find me in all sorts of SIM games and any Pet games that has breeding as a mechanic xD
My question is, and yes - I promise - I have been reading/looking at the guides that I can find. A few seem a bit outdated, but those I tend to be cautious about anyways.
Is there any way to speed up hatching an Eggling? Or is it just the required 3 days, regardless of Nurturing etc...?
Besides the official Nurturing thread that's pinned, is there anywhere else we can post our Hatchery/Nurturing Grounds link in order to get help from people to nurture our hatchlings?
And last, when it comes to the philters and such, is there a guide that details which ones are worth using and which ones are not worth it at all?
Thanks <3 I

Hello & welcome to Sylestia, glad you've been enjoying it so far! ^^/
Is there any way to speed up hatching an Eggling? Or is it just the required 3 days, regardless of Nurturing etc...?
You can nurture boost an egg (or hatchling) via the pet's profile page, however it's not a guarantee that it will hatch earlier than 3 days, as it entirely depends on how many players are nurturing. Most players nurture during an event/festival, festivals more so.
(There are 4 Festivals throughout the year: Spring (May-June), Summer (Aug-Sept), Fall (Oct-Nov), & Winter (Dec-Jan).
Events are smaller/shorter than Festivals, & there are 5 of them: Week of Love, Fortune, Easter, Patriotic, & Black Friday.)
Besides the official Nurturing thread that's pinned, is there anywhere else we can post our Hatchery/Nurturing Grounds link in order to get help from people to nurture our hatchlings?
You can post your Nurturing Grounds link/ Pet links in Region Chat, however it's only accessible in Astryl's Vale (Of which is after Umbra Forest) or Festival Zones.
(Each Festival has it's own map/zone)
And last, when it comes to the philters and such, is there a guide that details which ones are worth using and which ones are not worth it at all?
There's not really a "useless" philter, but there are lesser used ones.
& As far as I know, there isn't a guide.
You can however, hover/mouse over the Philters in the Diamond Shop & Scale Shop to read their description.
Hope this helps, & if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Thank you very much for the reply! Appreciate the thorough response. <3 Those answer help a lot to clear some things up for me. I'll make note to keep an eye on festivals, and good to know about the philters.

Field guide to sylestian fauna is a bit of a mess in terms of organization but I do keep it generally up to date unless I forget to do something
In this case, see Post 5 for info on sylesti aging, and post 6 for philters
