Are there dominant and recessive traits when breeding?? I've got a couple ny'venes I'm trying to breed; the male has essence of storms and the female has essence of flames and when I test breed, it will only show the essence of flames.

I think that when they have the same slot, then it goes with the mother's.

Yes, there are dominent/recessive. If you go to the generator, the top gene/mutation in a slot is the most dominant, and the bottom is the least.

As Lakarr said. So the offspring will have dominant essence of flames and will carry Essence of Storms (which will only show in the code if you get the offspring genetically tested- called a hidden carry), assuming that your offspring will get two GP in that M3 slot.

Ah, that makes sense. I know from Bio about dominant and recessive genes I just wasn't sure if this game dealt with things that complicated. Makes sense that the top gene/mutation would be the dominant. Thank you both :}
