We are pleased to announce the plan for our Referral System, which is currently under development and we hope will be released within a week or two.

Firstly, when released, you will be able to view all information regarding your Referrals under Account -> Settings.

You will be able to view your current Referral progress, all of your Referrals, and access tools to help manage your Referrals.

The Rewards
There will be 15 Levels that you will be able to progress through. For each Level that your account gains, you will be able to unlock one of 15 Bonuses. You can gain Levels by having a Referral accomplish one of three things:

-Take part in at least 1000 Battles
-Earn at least 1500 Scales from Nurturing
-Breed at least 20 Pets

A Referral can accomplish all three, progressing you 3 Levels.

Once your account has reached Level 15, all accomplishments earned from then on will reward you with 10 Diamonds.

The Bonuses
For every Level that you gain, you will earn 1 Bonus Point that you can use to unlock a Bonus. There are three Bonus Tiers, each with a max of 5 ranks.

-Earn 1% More Gold and Experience from Battles per rank
-Nurturing has a 5% chance per rank of Rewarding 2 Scales
-Bred Egglings Begin at 2 Incubation per rank

Managing Referrals
We will offer some tools on the Account -> Settings page that will allow you to more easily manage your Referrals.

-Receive an Account Notification when a user registers using you as their Referrer.
-Write out a Message that's sent to all Referrals when they create their account. This can be used to provide tips and to let them know you're available for questions.
-View a list of all Referrals and useful information pertaining to their account. Such as: User ID, Username, Last Online, and their Progress towards Accomplishments.

Two Important Restrictions
1. You cannot refer Users who play Sylestia from the same computer or location. For example, this means that the system will not allow you to refer a sibling or spouse if you use the same computer or live in the same house.

2. You are only allowed to have 1 account. Having more than 1 account will result in a permanent ban of all of your accounts. Creating multiple accounts to build up your referral levels will result in getting your accounts banned!

Additionally, we will offer everyone a method of submitting their Referrer if they did not do so when registering their account. This will only be available for a limited time.

And, all bonuses will be calculated for current Referrals. So if you've already referred players, don't worry, it will count towards your progress.

What if your referred by a person who you occasionally share a internet connection with? My sister-in-law referred me to the game and we occasionally have to use the same internet connection, when I come to visit this side of the family. Will that affect her chances of gaining levels?

Edit: I know of a couple sites that have banners that actually link to sign up in such a way that the info for who provided the link is registered. (I'm a bit sleepy so I'm sure I could phrase that better.) Will there be anything like that?
