The object of this game is to color the line art below. You may either color your entry traditionally or digitally. Both traditional and digital will be graded together.
Click on the image to go to a bigger version.
Rules
1. You may color the image above using traditional or digital means.
2. After you are finished coloring the image please come back to this thread and post your entry here. You may only enter one coloring piece, so you must choose either digital or traditional.

I have a quick question- are we allowed to make the image smaller at all? I just wanna double check! Also, are we allowed to edit the picture in any way besides coloring it? Like, if I wanted to make the pets look like ones I own, could I change their genes/mutations?

Is there, by any chance, a version of this with a transparent background?
Nevermind. Managed to get rid of the white in the background and the annoying little white pixels that always seem to miss being deleted. ^_^ All fixed.

The only program I have that can color this is MSPAINT, which means I have to save the outline to paint, fix the disconnected lines, upload it to photobucket and then post the link.
I don't have a scanner and even if I did, I wouldn't be interested in walking half a mile to buy crayons.
Sorry, but this is way too much work to be what I'd call 'fun'. I'll pass.

Ever heard of Paint.Net or Gimp? They're free to download from their sites.
To make this easier to color in paint, without all the "almost white" pixels, just do as follows...
- Open the image in Paint program
- Click "Save as" and choose "16 Color Bitmap". This will eliminate most of the colors and render the saved file as only black and white.
-Now "Save as" AGAIN but this time choose "24 color bitmap" so you get your regular color options back and are not limited to a very selective pallet.
Now the image should be only true black and true white, which gets rid of all those pesky pixels. :)
I decided to refer to this tip for participation purposes. Often, I have squeezed time for festivals, so I quickly do this file conversion and the picture truly becomes easier to color with the MSPaint bucket tool.
Just sharing this with you, as I also am not tech savvy with art programs.
