So hey, Im working on a Faelora Breeding project with a beautiful final outcome of this~
She's a 5 vis beauty with Nature Runes, Floral Design, Spotted Flower, Autumn Flower, And Fae Dust. (She'd be 6vis except i dont like bone mask or flowered headress ^^;)
Im already starting on this with Belle here
Anyways, The reason im making a thread about this is so i can get peoples help with the project! I estimate im going to be needing 2-3 more enhanced faelora essences to complete this project. I know im asking for a lot, but heres your reward - Its a breeding project, so theres definetly going to be more than some little baby faeloras with only 2 or 3 vis. I'll probably be selling these for around 10k (overpriced children, i know) But if you help with the project, you can have as many as you want for free!! Also when the final bae is produced, i would rather give away the parents and grandparents than release them, so you guys can get those fellas too!! If you do receive a pet please do not sell or breed to anyone else, and don't have them set up for breeding. You can use them to breed with your other pets, but as they are gifts they should be bred by you only. Also, if you want to help but don't have the money/diamonds for the enhanced essences, i might be needing some regular faelora essences just to help shove the project along.
Also I would love to repay everyone, but with no diamonds and not a lot of gold to contribute, Im going to be doing a lot of fan art! This includes simple gif animations (working on takes a while) or nice drawings!! These could be of any sylestia pet or if you want one done of your own pet id love to draw them!!!

Just curious, and I really do love this design c:
Did you consider the Frosted Flower or Orchid genes for her? I personally like those designs and haven't seen em on other projects yet. O:

Orchid doesn't work either? :<
I kinda see what you mean though. Autumn Flower does make it kinda jagged.

I like the orchid design really, and looking actual pictures of spotted orchids (insane right?) I decided that it might not look that bad if you want it to look like an actual orchid
Or if you used like a pet dye here you could get something like
This is actually a really pretty version and might turn into some weird side project thing, when im done with the first one that is, and flute if you want one, you got one haha
(or all of it actually considering myself ill probably be too lazy to breed a second one if i get a successful first one)

Oh it is pretty c:
I would've been more inclined to help with the project if it had frosted flower or orchid. xD; I actually have some essences for faes, along with dyes and a lot of ideas to make the entire project cheaper if you don't mind using other offspring all dyed up.

well the orchid trait IS really pretty, and the current faelora i have right now doesn't have the spotted flower trait so it wouldn't hurt to switch over to orchid. Like i can see where your coming from with orchid being a new trait, not a lot of pets have it. Also the orchid trait is just really pretty on its own.
Also when you say other pets all dyed up, what do you mean? like using pet dyes on other faeloras to get them to be the right colors? I mean its not a bad idea actually i never really thought about it since i don't thiiink theres a limit to how many pet dyes you can use on a pet (right?) its just i dont know how accurate pet dyes are haha i don't use them a lot ^^;

While they're not accurate, I honestly use em because of their cheapness (so much cheaper than buying an essence to be honest)
Sometimes, I dye the end result instead of using dyes on the parents. Saves dyes.
For example:
A 2vis male that already exists AND is up for breeding at 5k.
3vis male (that happens to be mine, aha) with traits for your project. Breeding for 1k.
Using these pets for breeding is much cheaper than generating a parent. x:
Then after, you can dye the offspring.
This is a pet I dyed myself after I bought it. While they're not perfect reds and blacks (actually, I wasn't even going for pure black, but it came out decent) the dyes work decently.
It's certainly cost efficient. When I think of projects, I think of not necessarily the cleanest way, but the most efficient way to breed. x:
Have you come up with a way to breed your faelora? What exactly the other parents will have? o:

I see where your coming from with the pet dyes, and i think that it would be a good method for getting the genes along with maybe some generators, mainly because i am kind of picky (not too picky i dont think since the colors are only relative), and also because of the slim contrast between some of the colors. Like, for instance, if a lighter shade of pick is darker than a 'dark' shade of pink, the actual colors themselves won't be that far apart, but the whole contrast will be kind of offset.
(also i used a regular generator once and the product was so hideous i literally gave up the project, I know im being overdramatic here and this really isn't the point here haha)
Anyways my plan for this was (and its a bad plan, trust me i realize)
.
Belle - - - - - - - other pet (possibly generated?)
(g1 vis, g2 vis) x (g3 vis, m1 vis,)
| /
other other pet (belle's son/daughter) x other generated pet
(g1, g2, g3, &m1 carried.) x (g1, g2, g3, &m1 carried.)
And then from the two pets with 4 carries they could produce a 4-vis pet, or if not, we could breed their offspring with the original 2 pets, and eventually get to the point with a successful 4-vis pet. From there you have a lot of options in terms of breeding partners so i don't think it should be hard to get the fae dust in there which, i know, ISN'T the best plan but its what im going with. The pets you mentioned earlier can come in with breeding with either belle, or belle's grandchildren (laughing)
As long as i can get to the third generation of pets, everythings pretty downhill from there.
Price wise, this only really requires one other enhanced faelora essence (which i think i can get my hands on soon enough), and the other one (belle's partner) isn't really necessary since he only needs 2 vis you could probably use one of the pets you mentioned earlier on (If your okay with that, of course)
Also i don't wanna sound like im trying to get you to buy me these essences ^^;, i think i can get them one way or another haha
(also i think im going to be logging off for today since its kind of late)

Ah, that plan sounds like it makes sense. o:
I'll let you go to sleep then. xD
Good luck on getting the essences. c: I definitely would like a faelora, though I'm kinda particular about the flower gene aha.
Night o/
