Hello fellow Sylestians! We will be holding a design contest for AP buyable avatar items that will go in the wardrobe. This includes the Base, Styles and Clothing tabs of the wardrobe. So things like hair, eyes, shoes etc.

Rules

1. Design an AP buyable avatar accessory for the wardrobe. You must draw your design, you may not post pictures of hair styles or other things. Below is a blank male and female base that you can use to draw your design on.

2. You may submit up to five items. If submitting multiple things please keep it all in one post. If I go through and see multiple posts of entries from the same user I will delete the extra posts. This is so the thread is cleaner and easier for me to look through.

3. Please do not reserve posts.

4. The end date for this is September 30th 2014 at 11:59PM server time.

Prizes

All entries that are picked will have their accessory created and added into the game. We will also unlock your style for you for free. Everyone that participates will also receive the Forum Title "Fashion Designer".

The current wardrobe AP clothing is considerably simpler in style and complexity than the outfit items - are we supposed to maintain a minimal level of detail for these entries, or can we go all out?

When designing clothes for this contest you'll need to keep in mind that they will need to mostly work with the other items in that section. So yes to your question basically. :)

Can we edit our entries? I personally just came up with 5 things, but I'm not sure those are the five I want to submit... So can I post, then edit it later if I come up with better ideas?

This is awesome! I've had some stuff floating around my head that I would love to see added to the Avatars.

I apologize in advance, an artist I am not.


First off is a down mohawk, same on both bases. The lighter part is just the same color at 50% opacity.



Second are some eyes, I love eyes with a glowy look to them, and these are meant to achieve that with a sort of fire-type glow. Same on both bases.



Then we have a make up item. Faun make-up! The brown would be controlled by the blush color and the white would be eye-shadow color. Same on both bases.



Next is a Top item, a fishnet shirt! Because everyone loves fishnet~ The feminine base adds a black bra-type thing and the neckline is lower.



And Lastly is another top item, a mid-drift revealing halter top~ Same on both bases.

Awesome! I've always been tempted to suggest adding in new 'makeup' features other than simple blush and eye shadow.

Note: I am not one for art. Designs are simple and probably off-center. x_x;

(Markings meant to go through the eyes - hard to tell the actual placement of eyes with the image)



Lunar Priest
(Meant to show three phases of the moon - waxing, full, and waning. Would look awesome in two colors.)


Lotus Markings
(Meant to appear like a lotus blossom. Would also look awesome with two colors.)


Whiskers
(Probably not set at the right location, but it gets the idea across and it'd be awesome to have whiskers to go with the animal nose!)
