I captured an easter Aurleon... I hadn't attacked it even once, the trap said it was successful, and it disappeared right when I caught it (from the battle screen). But I'm looking in my stable, and it's no where to be seen? Did something glitch?

Are you sure it succeeded? The pet could have escaped rather than being caught.

I read it at the bottom that it had been captured, and it immediately disappeared from the screen. There was another enemy I was still fighting, so I don't see any other reason it would have disappeared (all of my attacks were focused on the other enemy). =/

I just realized you guys had nearly the same issue as mine, but it happened sometime ago during the Easter raid too... I remember throwing the trap to the Sylesti, but I kind of ordered my pets to attack her (I think it was a female uncommon Aurleon) too on the same round, so whether I catch her or not, she would be defeated.

There are other bandit too at that battle, so after she was caught (that's what the log says), I proceed to defeat the bandit, but then after the battle I don't see her at the stable... :/

I thought I was imagining things! That maybe she escaped or something! XD
But maybe this is a glitch!

@Ruinia,
I had actually read this issue before, but that's why I've been super careful not to have my pets attack the one I'm trying to catch. All of my attacks were centered on the other enemy, which did not die in the same turn that the Sylesti was captured. It took another turn for that enemy to be killed, and I just figured the Sylesti would be in my stable/hatchery.

@Everlost,
Nope =/ ---- Edit* ---- Er, I meant, nope it's not in there. Forgot how your question was phrased, hah.

Yep, that's why I thought either I read the log wrong or she was actually killed instead of get caught. But I could've sworn I read she was caught! Then you post this thread, I thought we had the same issue! But with what you just described, we have nearly similar issue (the missing Sylesti) but it's actually different.

I hope this gets resolved for you!! D8

Maybe I'll try not to throw traps and attack a Sylesti at the same turn, though I don't mind not getting the uncommon Aurleon, but I hope I won't have this same problem with epic pets! XD

That's peculiar, because traps are supposed to go first before any attacks happen.

Of course, I could be wrong and a status ailment like Wounded or Bleeding or Siphon could kill the pet first. I'm not sure which goes first, ailment of enemy or trap, but I do know that 99% of the time, trapping attempts go before your pet attacks.

Traps, Scanners, and Consumables are calculated before anything else in a turn. It should be impossible for a sylesti to die before the trap attempt goes through.

It also shouldn't be possible to give a false positive. If it works, it works and gives the success message. If it fails, it doesn't and gives the fail message.

But, there could always be a bug.

If so, I really can't do anything about it without seeing a screenshot of the "blah blah is caught".

So if that happens, please screenshot it and create a bug forum thread and I will investigate as best as I can.
