The Zolnixi revamp release is almost complete and should be implemented as early as tomorrow (or at least by Sunday).

Below is a preview of their final look. They display the Gene, Back Stripes, and the Mutation, Talismans.

With the revamp, we had to move a few Mutations around among some other minor color changes. Here is the list of changes currently:

Mutation 1
-Now designated for Tail Mutations only
-Pearl Armor: Moved to Mutation 2
-Shaman Feathers: Moved to Mutation 2

For the following changes, simply Mutation 2 and Mutation 3 will be switching places. We will automatically do this for all Zolnixis and also swap their Mutation Color 2 and Mutation Color 3 colors as well. So for this portion of the changes, you will not notice any difference among your pets.

In addition to the above, we also did the following:

Mutation 3
-Now designated for Wing Mutations only
-Spirit Flames: Moved to Mutation 2
-Leaf Trappings: Moved to Mutation 2

For pets affected by the four moving Mutations, they will receive a re-generation. If you do not know what that is, it is basically a feature that lets you completely re-allocate the traits of your pet. Once a pet is tagged for a re-generation, you can complete the process by clicking the "Re-Generate" button on its profile page just below its image.

Lastly, we did some minor color changes. Since we don't deem anything to be major and what we did was to improve color schemes, pets affected by these changes will not receive a re-generation.

Colors
-The default Runes are now tied to Gene Color 3 instead of Color 3. This will free up Color 3 to be more selective for Genes/Mutations.
-Their inner ear fluff is now tied to Color 2.
-Some minor changes to some Genes and Mutation colors. Nothing major that should really affect many pets.

Just an update to what's happening with the Zolnixi.

We are still working to get these released. Atm, the builder is built and the Adult Female, Baby Female, and Baby Male's files are uploaded. We still have to do the Adult Male's files.

The reason for the process taking longer than usual is that we are actually trying to do something different with their shading and highlights. In the past, we would just upload the shading/highlights/lineart all as one image and it would just layer on top. Now, we are trying to integrate all three separately onto the colors. The effect allows for the shading/highlights to be more than just simply black and white.

There's quite a few issues that we're working on resolving regarding this, but we do hope that we can release the Zolnixi with the new format because we think they look way better. Here is a simple comparison:



The other consequence to this is that it requires uploading a lot more files because we are now uploading everything separately instead of just merged together. The Adult Female alone was 856 unique .png files inside of 245 folders lol. So... it's a rather time consuming process. =P

We are also having a different image building software installed onto our server to see if it will work better than the one we're working with at the moment.

But that's the current update and reasoning as to why they aren't released yet.
