hello I have read the threads and everything but it is just NOT working the expand party limit stays unclickable

Have you finished the "capture a pet" quest? Do you have sufficient gold to purchase the 2nd slot?

I did finish the 'capture a pet quest' I have a pet named blue from it. how do I get the next slot?

Continue with you quests until it is clickable. Make sure you have enough gold for it, i think it around 20 thousand but maybe that's the third one. Make sure your pet has good armor till you can unlock the extra slot.

the 2nd pet slot is 2500, the third is 25000
