i had this idea for pets who are all one color.... (green)
and thire children have visible mutations or genes that are the colors that make up the parent's colors " target="_blank" />
AND IT WORKED!
i really LOVE how this came out so i think i might do the other 2 bulbori (orange and purpel) and than move on to the qitari and sylvorpa palette pets.
this is what im going for with the color palette pets:
1. all pets have a gene or mutation that eatch color carries.
2. once all the pets are bred, if i did this right, i can eventullay make something like this: or
and thats just the bulbori!
im really excited because this is my first large scale breding project (i guess i can call it that...) and the green bulbori was orriganly just "im not sure if this will work or not, might as well test it." so im really excited right now

Ah these are nice
If you searched for a colour palette site (I'm pretty sure there's one on tumblr called color-palettes run by a Sylestia user, for example) then you could use those hex codes to create some really gorgeous pets using this method!
e.g.
could make a really cute pet, especially if you did genes in shades of teal and mutations in shades of pink or something? The site itself has hex codes in the captions.
This is a really good idea, I wish you luck with it

that seems like a cool idea! maybe a series two idea?
anyway, i thought i update.
i just made the purple ones!
im not sure if thire shade diffrences will be negative or positive, but the carried colors seem to be right. just gatta wait for them to age to find out i guess.
in the mean time, i think i might be getting over my head XD
when the new genes and mutations came out, i thought of makeing a series two of these if they turn out okay.
what pets should i include in series two? bulbori are already desgined.

finely got a purple bunny with red ruins and blue armor!
now to make my favorite color orange!
the orange pets will carry yellow dutch and red ruins.
after that uhhh....
I think I might make a new set of pets XD
maybe use all those zolnixi essences I have >_>
