Welcome to 2016 on Sylestia!
We have high expectations for the year of 2016 and the biggest of those expectations come from our continued work (and eventual release) of the MegaZone. Additionally, we plan to kick our species revamps into overdrive, with the Morkko Revamp hopefully being released most likely next week. Not only will the Morkko receive a much needed update to its artwork, but we will also be releasing quite a few new genes and mutations as well as its first Pet Costume.
In regards to the MegaZone, it is still fully under development - nothing has changed. At this time, its basic foundation is probably about 75% built while its content is about 30% built. I know that means probably nothing and is impossible to translate lol... but it's the best progress update that we can provide atm. The one thing I can say though is that content is much faster to create than the foundation.
In terms of Sylestia as a whole, I think it's safe to say at this time that the MegaZone will probably be more content than the rest of Sylestia combined. In other words, the time that it currently takes to create an account, complete the content up to level 60, and deck out your pets in the game's best gear will be a faster task than completing everything that the MegaZone has to offer. And all of this content will be available in one massive zone. I really can't put into words how much work (both coding and artwork) has gone and eventually will be contained within this one release of content. It will be a ton. New maps, new features, new equipment, new avatar items, new monsters, new named, new levels, new abilities, new bosses (different from named), new themed pets, a new species, etc, etc!!
And for those who may have forgotten or for those who are new, the reason that we are doing this (rather than say, release bits and pieces at a time), is because we want to provide a huge batch of content to occupy everyone while we work to completely revamp the entire Site.
Unfortunately, at this time I don't really have anymore artwork or specific details to provide. A lot of the work that we've done over the past few months has been on the core feature of the MegaZone and I can't really provide any details without spoiling it or sharing more than we want to share. We hope to be finished with this feature by the end of the month and then begin to add the remaining content of the MegaZone through February.
I think a rough estimate of release for the MegaZone, at this time, would be mid-late March. We will provide more updates as we have them and we hope everyone is excited for the imminent Morkko Revamp. =)
Happy New Year from us at Sylestia!

Is there any way users could get in to help? will there be any testing needed? im good at testing for bugs C:

There shouldn't be any testing required. When I code, I code very carefully and make sure everything works as I code. I would never release anything without doing this before hand. Obviously, sometimes bugs slip through but I can just address these once the content is released.
Faiona and I both thoroughly self-test content before it's released.
We like to keep new things unwrapped so that it's completely new and exciting once it's available to everyone. =)
The majority of the time is just being spent creating the databases, creating the features, coding the content, etc.

Thanks for the update! This is so exciting and I can't wait to go hunting in this zone! I will probably have to choose a very special party to celebrate my first romp, though I have an idea who it would be just knowing how I operate!
Good luck on making the rest of this.
