You'll definitely need to save up gold to get the 3rd party slot. I see you've been doing missions, so that's great. Also, you can explore the previous zones (non-dungeon, since dungeons are more challenging) to level up and collect equipment.

I took a look at your pets, and will recommend you to read this guide on how to better assign level up/proficiency points and equip your pets: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=11101

In short, choose either strength or intelligence. If you add points to one, don't add any points to the other. Likewise, use equipment that adds more points to the stat you've chosen, instead of those that split points equally between the two/across all stats. If you choose strength, use relics that give physical bonus, if intelligence use those with magical bonus. Choose a proficiency tree that matches the stat profile you've chosen.

Assuming you give Vixie intelligence, and Candy strength, you should swap the two's armour. It'll be good is you can upgrade their armour as well.

Also, most players build a tank-canon party. Which means your first pet will have mainly/only points in health (since it'll be the main pet most enemies hit, so it'll need to restand a lot of damage), and the other pets have mostly points in either strength/intelligence (since they tend to receive less damage, their focus is to deal as much damage as possible to the enemies).

Different players have different fighting styles, with some opting for all canons for quick battles but may struggle with bosses with high health; and others using all tanks for long stamina but usually long battles as well. I'll personally recommend the tank-canon party build for now, but it's up to you to decide which style suits you.
