I was given the quest "Capture a Sylesti," and I found one I want to catch but I don't have anything to catch it with? I opened the little satchel icon during battle but there wasn't any traps or anything? What do I catch it with?

For the quest, you don't need to actually catch the pet. It's a scripted event, so you just have to keep exploring until you get an event where it says you found a pet and then you get a choice to catch the pet.


To catch pets, you'll need to buy traps, which you can do at the market in the town. Traps have a chance of failing, so usually you'll need more than 1 trap to catch the pet.

I completed the catch a sylestie quest from the fairy jinxie,i caught the sylestie on the first try,and went to quest log and fully completed the quest,I then went to the plaza to do the"training" to be able to get more pets on my party,but it said that I still had to complete the quest to be able to"train. What can I do?

You'll need to open the satchel you receive from the quest for the tutorial to register that you've completed the quest.
