Flaming Sunset
Backstory: Sunset is a dragon of bold colors. She is gentle and warm-hearted toward friends, but is a true fighter at heart. She was just an egg when I received her from a friend, she had been born the day I joined. As if fate had it all aligned, she has stayed with me since. The years have altered her appearance, but I love her even more. She started my army of ny'vene, and she shall be there to the end.

Likes: Campfires, blankets, sunny days, cloudy mornings, red moons.
Dislikes: Rain, creatures bigger than her, too much wind, people stepping on her tail.

Sunset watches over her descendants and new recruits with an eye for detail. She evaluates each one, and if they do not meet her expectations, they don't become a part of her tribe. The only one with more authority than her is her trainer. And the only 'vene who even comes close to matching the respect she has for her trainer, is Howls of Fire

Howls of Fire

Backstory: As more and more recruits were taken into my stable, Howl was one of the many. He particularly stood out to Sunset, the Beta, second in command. Although his fighting skills don't even compare, and his appearance and reputation say otherwise, he is really very gentle. He is light-hearted with a love for watching wildlife.

Gender: Male
Sign: Gemini
Occupations: You can often find him outside on a rock in direct sunlight, studying the smallest changes in nature. Often he will be found gliding over the mountains, forests, and canyons of Sylestia. He carves symbols and pictures into the walls of mountain caves far from the view of others.
Likes: Sunrises, the sound of water, rays of light striking dust clouds, and carrots.
Dislikes: Wildfires, floods, earthquakes, spiders, areas highly populated with humans.

Howl has practiced in battle a small amount since arriving at his new stables, and values the skills he has learned when protecting his forest companions from trolls and bandits. Howl has recently taken up the job of teaching vene hatchlings about their habitat.

Magnus

Backstory: Magnus started out as a fighter in the arena alongside Matches and Crater. As her strength grew in battle, she developed a certain taste for missions instead of gruesome fights. Flaming Sunset taught her in the art of strength, and soon she had reached her highest level. She definitely earned her stay in the stables.

Gender: Female
Sign: Aquarius
Occupations: Steady full time job doing strength missions at the vale.
Likes: Exercising her strong muscles, watching LOTR (Lord of the Rings), taking part in LARPs (Live action role plays).
Dislikes: Sweet food, sappy romance, creatures younger than her, and card games.

Magnus takes pride in being able to carry heavy loads of rock on her thick leathery wings. She likes her food scorched with her own flame or she will be hesitant to eat it. Magnus helps Sunset keep the other 'venes in check.

Princess Orionis
Backstory: Orionis (also known as Orion) came from the icy world from the north. When I caught her, it was clear she would want to fill Magnus's empty space in the arena team. She is very light on her feet, and quick on the wing. She is used to fighting the chilled winds of the arctic, so her skill is nothing to mess with.

Gender: Female
Sign: Virgo
Occupations: Occasionally battling in the arena, Orion likes to dive down to the coldest waters in any lake she hasn't already explored. She is also a mount for her trainer.
Likes: Nighttime flying, deep diving, snowy days, winter, and snow cones.
Dislikes: Socks, fireplaces, extremely bright places, bugs (especially flying insects), and birds.

Orion can change water into ice, that includes water vapor in the air. This makes her a good friend to have around hot summers when the ice in your drink melts. Orion sometimes disappears and some of the 'vene can see her glowing within a shell of ice at the bottom of a lake.

Matches
Backstory: As a fully grown 'vene, Matches was adopted into our stables. It was soon known that he would make a great start to the arena party, so he was put directly into training under Sunset's supervision. He got into a lot of trouble in the beginning, but was able to adjust as time went on.

Gender: Male
Sign: Sagittarius
Occupations: As a fighter in the arena, Matches is always training and battling for fun to make sure his skills are honed to their sharpest and ready for battle.
Likes: Power lines, generators, swords, ancient history.
Dislikes: Socializing, the color blue, strong smells, bright lights.

As interesting as his preferences make him, Matches tends to stay deep within caves and tries not to cross paths with anyone. Especially those he is least fond of.

Crater
Backstory: Crater was an abandoned 'vene who wandered into a pumpkin patch as a hatchling. Over time, her physical appearance adapted to the environment for her safety. She had a grudge against humans when her trainer caught her, and decided to add her to the arena team as a way to vent anger. She developed strong bonds between Princess Orionis and Matches, her battle partners.

Sign: Aquarius
Occupations: Carving pumpkins, lighting jack'o'lanterns, fighting in the arena, sleeping in the caves where her friend Matches shelters himself.
Likes: Places she can blend in, being alone, Halloween, the ocean, rain, crows.
Dislikes: The moon, the forest, most humans.

Crater often considers plotting an escape to fly far away from everyone and live her own peaceful life, but she secretly enjoys arena battles and does not want to give them up.

Elderbox Swiper Wasp Burn
Backstory: ESWB was a skilled agent of the FBI but was removed when she did not follow orders for the third time. Feeling vengeful, ESWB teamed up with Rocky, another vene, and they committed highly intelligent and thought out crimes. Their trainer took them in to try and set them straight, channeling their abnormal thinking abilities into other things such as missions.

Gender: Female
Sign: Pisces
Occupations: ESWB is a mission pet for dexterity. She serves her trainer well, and takes pride in her job. She is also an exterminator for wasps and boxelder bugs.
Likes: Killing insects and exercising her brain skills in mathematics and puzzles.
Dislikes: The color pink, ice cream, bears, and zebras.

ESWB hoards sunglasses. She likes to wear a different pair everyday, and her favorites are the pairs with the mirrors in the sides. She can be a bit of a prankster, so her trainer has to keep an eye on her.

Rocky the Toxic Flame
Backstory: He and ESWB teamed up shortly after he abandoned his gang. Rocky was in the gang called Chain Breakers, they hid in city alleys and often stole shiny objects from civilians. He has since cleaned up his act and become a loyal companion.

Gender: Male
Sign: Aries
Occupation: A strength mission pet who is mostly needed for moving heavy boulders and rocks. He also handles toxic waste without the worry of sickness or disease.
Likes: Counting, nuclear technology, trolls, dark places, and he has a strange fondness of elves.
Dislikes: Fairies, the meadow, summer,Sprie, and blue sky.

He and ESWB often try to snatch more food and hide it for later, special pre-cautions have to be taken when letting them out of their stable stalls.

Sprie
Backstory: Sprie came from a land deep in the mountains where she charted stars and developed wing beats strong enough to move clouds. She was intrigued by her future trainer who she spotted on a hike, and decided to come back with them and learn new things.

Gender: Female
Sign: Pisces
Occupations: Sharpening her speed by participating in agility missions.
Likes: Hot sunny spots to nap, the ocean, creeks, making friends, rainbows, bubbles.
Dislikes: The dark, whistling wind, storms, mushrooms.

Sprie tries to befriend everyone in the stables on her spare time. Her peppy personality isn't always accepted among her peers, but she does her best to stay kind.
