Ik this sounds dumb, but how do i trade items to others? My friend started playing and i want to send him things

On the inventory screen, look under the inventory box for a little icon that looks like an envelope with an arrow on it. Have the item selected you want to send, and then click that little icon. I had a hard time figuring this out too. X3

@Kinuna,
There isn't really a way to actually set up a trade as far as I know.
For example if I were to trade you an item. I would send you the item I'm trading with you and you would send me the item you're trading with me via the icon stated above.
