The object of this contest is to create a Gingerbread House using real food! Your gingerbread house must be created by using any type of food. It doesn't necessarily have to be made of gingerbread, graham crackers or any other type of food is fine to use for the construction of your house. You must use real food in this contest, digital entries aren't allowed. :)

Rules

1. When creating your Gingerbread House you must take at least three pictures of the process with your username written on a piece of paper somewhere in the picture. So there is not any confusion, feel free to view the 2014 Gingerbread House Contest to see what other users did with their pictures.

2. After you're done creating your Gingerbread House come back to this thread and post your pictures all in one post. :)

3. If you have never created a Gingerbread House before here are some handy tutorials to get you started: Link 1 Link 2

4. The due date for this is at the end of the festival. I am posting this early so people have ample time to create their Gingerbread Houses. :)

Can I enter something like a cake decorated and cut into the shape of a house?

does it have to be a house, or can it be something else, like a mansion or a castle? (i was thinking specifically of a castle...)

I think it can be pretty much anything, as long as it's livable. Krin, Fai, can you confirm this?

You can pretty much make anything you like. If you look at the 2014 examples(I participated in that one too), there were a couple of people, I think, that made castles~ I think, so long as it is some kind of structure, it's good. :)
