Hello! I was wondering if there was some way to set local storage or something like that for sylestia (Im sooo not in the know when it comes to that stuff), Im from Australia and because of where I live my internet options are terrible and my cap usage is very small. Sylestia is really chewing through my monthy usage Just loading my stable creature images takes a massive bite out of it. I had to ask because I'll have to limit my sylestia time otherwise D:

I don't really know how that'd be possible.

We use image caching so unless the cache expires or the image changes, you don't download it every page load. But at some point, you have to access the site and download it from our servers (or Cloudflare's).

Because our images are so dynamic (both pets and avatars), there's really no way around them not being a decently sized image.

Just curious, what is your monthly usage? In US, internet providers, as far as I know, don't have monthly usages. Mobiles do, but not home internet providers. So that is something I never even considered.

Ahh i figured it would be hard, complicated You'll prolly laugh when you read it My internet cap is 25gb : / and worse its on wireless 3G because where I live reliable cable internet isn't possible >.< the lines are just too degraded or too far from the exchange. Whats worse is I was on 15 gb until the other week when the main company that provides net/phone decided to allow more of a usage for wireless. Cable is alot better here though but everyones still limited by the cap they choose unless they pay for an unlimited plan. 25gb wireless also costs 160 dollars a month which is very painful =.=

Everything else here is pretty much normal otherwise its just the internet thats sooo behind XD

That... is really awful.

Our plan is $40 a month for internet. We get download speeds up to 50 mbs and there is no limit to our usage.

I wish I knew of a way to help, but I really don't.


Edit: I'm retarded. 10gb != 10 tb -_-

But yea anyway lol. I don't really know what I could do to help reduce that. Just make sure on your browser that you allow cookies and don't clear caches when you close your browser and stuff.

kk thank you for the tip Yeah its leee suck, the highest speed i get is 7mbs XD I wish i had 10TB that would be amazinnnnnnnng! having 25000 meg sucks =.=, Ill just make sure to keep an eye on my usage
