I bought a pet from another player and I tried to put it in my party but it says that I am not high enough level to command it, how can I get my level higher so I can put it in my party?

@Firea,
Your User Level (which you can see on your User Profile) increases when you level a pet under your ownership.
So you can do this either by leveling a pet through battling, through doing missions, or by using experience orbs.

Something seems to be wrong, I have leveled up several of my pets but my player level hasn't moved at all, so now I am really confused

@Firea,
Your User Level only increases if a pet you leveled goes higher than your User Level.
For example, if your User Level is Lvl 30 and you level a pet from 0 to 1. Your User Level will not change.
But, if you level a pet from 30 to 31, your User Level will now be Lvl 31.
Does that clear it up?
