I just finished Laid to Rest, and Sae-can'tpronouncethis is offering to send me off on my next errand with or without an elven army. Given that the "escort" I got saddled with in the Garden of the Magnates ended up just being a bunch of useless trap magnets who did absolutely nothing, I'm leery about accepting the army this time, since I don't really feel like babysitting a bunch of pointy-eared pansies--I mean, Noble Elven Warriors.

i don't think you get to ditch jinxie and i would never there are times you want to ditch her but sometimes you really need her and you have to click on the tomb looking thing to get to the tomb

It's been a long time since I've played that quest, but I believe I went without the army and did just fine. It's hard to tell which is the "right" choice, since most players don't keep track of the consequences, and we can't replay it to see the different results of our choices.

Regarding Jinxie, she's basically the tutorial. So no, you don't really get to ditch her, until you've reached the 3rd region.

I'll probably go without the army, then. It's too bad I'm stuck with Jinxie for a little while longer, but thanks both of you.
