hello! I need some potions to fight off this boss that's really hard to beat and I wanted to ask if anyone could be so kind as to give me about 5,000 gold, maybe in exchange for one of my sylesties if you'd like. I can't really go anywhere else to get money and I had nothing left to sell, so I thought this was a good idea I guess

Not sure if you know about the stuff I'm about to say, but I'll say it anyway just in case!

I highly recommend doing missions at the barracks in Esior's Haven (and later, in the next town) to earn gold. This guide is very helpful - it explains very well how to do missions effectively! Missions are by far the best way to earn gold on Sylestia, so it's well worth the time it takes to read.

If you're having trouble beating an enemy, you may also want to take a look at this guide, which explains the best ways to spend your pets level ups and proficiency points! I am also willing to answer any specific questions you may have about this over PM ^-^

oh well just get as much party slots as you can, then make sure your armors, relics, and those guys are well and at least rare quality.
(When you get to fighting Vorpar, try not to get stuck like me lol and use at least gold or red for that)

Ah. I got stuck there, too. It was miserable! Can I suggest that instead of getting potions, you go to the broker and get experience orbs, armor, etcetera? then you can level up your pets, making them more powerful. If you could get your pets to level 25, your proficiencies would give your pets a--I like to say--"superpower". I'm pretty sure that Thunder and Bolt don't have those.
I forget if you are fighting just Talon's pets, or him too, if so, take him out first, and it will help a lot!
