I was wondering if there was any particular way people decided the prices for breeding projects.
I'm guessing things like stats, species, number of vis, themed/non-themed, etc. have an impact. But is there anything else that gets taken into consideration when pricing? And do people change the price at all if nobody's buying?
Any input on the subject is appreciated, as I have one project that looks like it may be finished in the near future. ^.^

When I started pricing my projects I took a look at what other people with projects of similar requirements were charging. I ended up massively undercharging at first, then raised my prices based on what people were telling me they would be willing to pay for my completed projects at the time. Right now I'm thinking some of my highest priced projects might be a little too high, but I have had purchasers at that price, to perhaps not. It's something I'll have to look at again when I have some time XP But.... it also depends on whether you want to sell a ton of offspring, or have them be a little more 'rare'. I'm not as worried about whether I sell my project offspring and really just project for my own enjoyment, so if only two offspring of a particular project ever sell because those that might be interested think the price is too high... that doesn't really bother me lol!
Anyway, long story short: lots of things to consider when pricing, but yes, you can change your pricing over time if you feel the pricing isn't quite right.

That makes sense. I hadn't really considered things like "rarity".
Thanks for your input ^.^
