To generate a pet with 4 Trait Points (2vis / 1vis, 2 carry / 4 carry) you need either an enhanced or mystical essence.

We've got a list here of all the ways that essences can be obtained.

The easiest way to get enhanced essences is probably either the Trade Broker or Item Auction Forum, if you can't get them from the diamond shop.

(alternately, you might be able to obtain Regennable pets- certain species that have been revamped became re-generatable, with all their Trait Points available for re-allocation amongst traits that existed prior to the revamp, due to alterations in trait placement making their original appearance in-viable. Soma species also have their colours regennable.
These can be expensive, though it varies by species)

Hi NorthWest,

Let me see if I can help you,
If your looking for essences to use in the generator you can find them for sale in the Diamond shop.
You can also look for essences in Trades.

A 4 trait point one you could also possibly find if you fight through some of the dungeons (I found a draeyl 4point essence in the Forsaken dungeon once, very rare)

That last way is to enter forum contests and hope its a prize.

If you would like to generate another pet with 4 points you will have to purchase either a mystical or enhanced Essene from the diamond shop. You can find the diamond shop in the tab listed "Shops" Hope this helps!

So, there's no way to add more points?
I ask because I've purchased pets with 10 trait points that are regennable, 2 Ny'Venes. how did they have so many if the highest an essence can get you is 4?
is it something with breeding? or special purchases or something?

In the case of regennable pets (zolnixi, aurleon, ny'vene, etc.), all pets that had traits that got shuffled or split upon their species revamp have all their trait points set aside for reallocation.
We did some writing on another FAQ you can look at here and... also further up in this thread, actually.

The ny'vene you're talking of will be offspring bred for traits; the highest number of trait points you can get naturally on a non-offspring pet is usually 6 ('usually' because mystical/8tp pets are infinitesimally rare)
(Natural tp maximums of non-offspring pets are: Essence max- 4tp, Tamed max- 8tp, Exclusive max- 6tp)

Though you can add 1-2 TP to Tamed pets via Mutators (depending on the mutator- only a single mutator can be used on a pet, and it needs an empty trait slot (for instance, I could not use a mutator on our only Mystical to make her into a 10tp pet because all her trait slots are filled))
