I understand that it is like slots, bit is there anything I have the ability to do to it besides "pulling the lever?" What is a staves reset? What purpose do the lanterns at the top of each row serve? What happens when they are lit up, like one is now? So confused.

The only thing you can do besides "pulling the lever" is change the bet amount unlocked unless you get the following:

2-3 Jinxies
All 3 Fairy staves lit, that's those lantern things at the top. (3 Talon resets those staves)

When you get those, you enter a bonus game.

With the Jinxies you get to choose one of the squares with a prize behind it. ((Three Jinxies may have 3 prizes, i can't remember.))

For the staves you get to click on squares and win prizes until you reveal three talons, then you win all the revealed prizes and the bonus game is over.

If you get 3 Jinxies, the game is just like the 2 Jinxies (one prize) except instead of only a gold reward you can also find treasure chests, essences, philters, etc. like you can in the three staves bonus game.

Do you need to unlock the 10 gold bet for this?

I played the game quite a bit but never got anything but gold from the Jinxie-Bonus Games ... ?

Normally it's gold, but other items are potential rewards too. It's just a random chance, keep at it and you'll get one eventually, it just might take while.

Also just since it's relevant, Jinxie's Jamboree is set up to be profitable in the long run, so even if it seems like you loose a bunch of games in a row, you'll eventually make it back up the longer you play.
